The hotel was very convenient, it was easy to access from the interstate with a good location near restaurants. The overall room was small. The shower is not designed for tall people. The bed was comfortable. Check in was easy and the staff was nice. All in all I can't complain, for the trip was nice and I could have paid more for less somewhere else.

Very close to our destination, very convenient. Room had foul odor, staff was eating breakfast buffet while on duty. Great location. Lot's of potential. Need a renovation, badly. Stricter management for cleaning crew.

very old and past its prime. the bed fell off their support and mattresses were old.Room was very small compared to other motels and bathroom facilities were TINY.

We checked in rather early and we noticed our room was handicaped however, ther is now way anyone with a wheelchair could get around in the room. Our lamps were either not working or broken, the cable didn't work and the floor was so gross you wouldn't want to walk on it barefoot. I had to keep the curtains closed with my hair clips as they were broken from the rod. We were in the front of the building where cars were parked about 25 feet from the window as they could see right in. I had to lean down about a foot to take a shower as it was made for someone handicaped. When I asked to be moved to another room, the manager told me that the hotel was booked. I pointed out that the room next to me had not been filled yet and would like to be moved in there. He denied me and sent the maintenance man in to fix the cable and put new bulbs in the lights. We had no space to put our luggage other than the table so then there was no where to sit other than the bed. The room I had asked to be moved to was twice the size of our room and had luggage racks(something that would have been nice had I actually been handicaped). The continental breakfast was served out of what looked to be a storage closet at one point.

Location. It was dirty. The first room they put us in was tiny. Bathroom was cornered, there was one to one and a half feet on either side of the two double beds and everything else was just crammed in there around the beds. Also, the reason for a second room is that we found a dirty pair of underwear in the bottom of the closet. If the cleaning crew didn't look there to clean the room thoroughly, I'm not sure the room was cleaned very well at all. The second room was larger, but it was a smoking room (We reserved a non-smoking room). The towels were small and were very scratchy. There was mildew and mold in the shower. Half of the power outlets did not work and the air conditioning was on it's last leg.

The hotel needs a little work but can't be beat for the price. The staff was courteous and helped me get the best deal possible.

The staff seemed unprepared for the full house they had because of the near by Talladega NASCAR race that weekend.

Had a fridge in the room. Staff, not clean, room in disrepair, no alarm clock. Only 1 light worked. No way is this a 2.5 star hotel. Continental breakfast was a joke. Staff not helpful at all. Yes, the room had a fridge, but that's about the only positive on the room. Walls were recently spackled over, but not painted! Room did not have an alarm clock, lights didn't work.

The place smelled, there were burn hole in the blankets, the fire alarm in the room was not in working order. The employees were rude.

I am extremely disappointed with the Travel Lodge. Although I've stayed at inexpensive hotels, never have I stayed at a place so filthy. The room was small, smelled bad, carpet worn & torn, and they didn't have additional towels available. The first night I had to visit WalMart to purchase towels, disinfect, soap, and air freshners to put in the room. I would rather sleep in my car before I return to the Travel Lodge.

Not much. Noisy, no exterior doors to rooms. It was only passable, flat pillows and smaller that usual towels. The continental breakfast advertised was one doughnut and coffee and that was at 6:30am, by 7 am there would not have been anything left.

Half our room's electricity didn't work so we had to brew coffee on the night stand, both sinks, the tub and the toilet wouldn't drain. Carpet, floors dirty. Only one hand towel for two people? At least they discounted our room because of the plumbing problems.

Closeness to concert facility. Nasty! The whole place reeked, oldie; the room was not clean, linens were tattered and old the bathroom was not clean, dirty linen in the shower. The cleaning lady was rude, could not speak English made rude gestures. The only positive thing was the close proximity to interstate and concert facility.

It was close to were I had to go the next day, The beds and sheets smelled, I asked to be woken never happened, I should have been able to leave without any payment. I won't ever stay at that or any other of those hotels. Never!

Location Bathroom door was hard to open and close, the smoke detector was broken in the room, there were burn holes in the blankets, the clerk was rude. This hotel was horrible. The check-in clerk was rude and you could tell she didn't want to be there. The smoke detector in the room was broken, the door to the bathroom was hard to open and close, the fan was broken, and there were burn holes in the blankets. This is one place I'll never stay again.
