The hotel was located a very short drive from all beaches, ocean city, wildwood, and atlantic city. The hotel was great, But the pool closed at 8.00pm They should close there pool a bit later

It had a refigerator/microwave in rooms. Made me feel likeI was at a one night stand motel. The staff is nice. They need to work on there breakfast. The rooms look like they where made just for one night stand not travelers.

Hello my name is Natasha my husband and i stayed at the travelodge hotel on 3/20/2009-3/22/2009 and at first site it looks fine but when we checked in it was a smell that was not nice at the front desk. Then when we got to our room i checked the bed it was spots on the covers ,no room serive come I had to go and ask for new covers and make the bed myself, right then i wanted to check out but it was non-refundable so my husband did everything he could to make me comfortable .So we stayed but we were never in the room from the time we woke up until the time we went to sleep we were shopping or in atlantic city.So if you dont plan on being in the room its a good hotel ,but its not for a romantic get away. Howard Jonhson is better

Room hadn't been cleaned after previous occupant. Bed unmade, comforter on floor, along with dirty, wet towels. Fixture functional but not fully attached to sink. Bathroom door lock broken. No hot water for shower (no tub, either; just shower stall). Garbage can full. Walls so thin my neighbor's tv woke me up at 4:30 am. After checking in around 11pm, I left at about 5am. I can't even say I got my money's worth, which was 30. Used to live 5min away; PLENTY of other, quite nice hotel/motels, for similar rate.

Not a bad place for the price.

No wait time at check in. Smell of the rooms. Nice bathroom, the room smelled like moisture, clean beds.

just wanted to get away for the night. paid for a room that had coffee, but no coffee pot. the carpet strip between the bedroom and bathroom was coming up. the air conditioner's knob was so loose that whenever the compressor kicked on, it shut off. the tub spigot was coming out of the wall. got a smoking room, but there was no ashtray. i would not stay here again.

there was a terrible experience in this time due to unsanitary conditions of that stinky room, bathroom was flooded with nasty watter licking down from celling, nasty blankets and no wireless as advertised on Orbitz's site. Sorry I will think about it next time to do a reservation through Orbitz again.

Able to book room same day. Place was a dive, but, staff was friendly. No towels, toilet paper in room. Carpet was wet.

Both my partner and I have worked in Guest Services and have travelled on a budget. By far, this was the worst customer service we have ever encountered. They were rude on every occasion we spoke to them. Despite my credit card they wanted a deposit just to make local calls, they refused to call a cab from the front desk, the hair dryer in my room didn?t work and they couldn?t care any less, finally we got an extremely rude call to vacate the room at 11 am sharp. Trust me saving a few dollars is not worth this experience on your vacation.

we arrived early, and the manager was very nice. he allowed us to enter the room early, since the weather was poor and we had nothing to do. overall room was clean. only complaint was I had a smoking room instead of non smoking.
Date of Stay:

I like that the room had a microwave and refrigerator. Limited parking, water would get hot then cold, and there was not restaurant. I thought the hotel would have been a little better based on the description online. The walls were paper thin. I probably wouldn't stay there again unless it was the only hotel available. The hotel staff was very nice and gave us what we asked for when requested.

Unfortunately my friend and I styed here on the weekend of New Years b/c no other hotels were available and we booked late. Be aware of the following: Broken Window Locks, Burn Holes in the Sheets, Smelly Heat/AC, Nails sticking out from plastic floor strips (not sure how to describe) and the owner calling you because it is a few minutes after 11am. My Recommendation: Find another hotel.

nice location. was offered breakfast at checkin but in the morning there was only coffee. The room was large . Two good size beds. Room smelled needed to be aired out or carpet cleaned. Was a lot of room for the price.

It didn't burn down while I was staying there. Everything. Crappy. Leaky bathroom sink. Mirrors on the ceiling. Bathroom in total disrepair. Funky odor.

In my opinion, this facility resembles a down on its heels tawdry bordello rather than a family lodging spot. The rooms were filthy, Wallpaper was badly wrinked and didn't match. Bed frame was made of 2x4 lumber, hair dryer didn't work. Sitting on the toilet was like trying to ride a bucking bronco.

Good location at a reasonable price. Could use better staff. Child was working at front desk. From the photos listed on the website I expected a Comfort Inn type stay. However, I got an economic lodge stay. The pictures are deceiving. I would not have paid as much or have booked a different location as there were other hotels in the area with the same accommodation at a lower price. For the location, the price is about right. The staff could have been better as the staff was friendly but did not speak much English Must be family run as well as a 9 year old boy checked us out! I would shop around before choosing this hotel.

Swimming Pool. Lack of modern network facilities. The Absecon Travelodge is a nondescript hotel in a desirable location. It offers clean basic accommodations, but is by no means a "fancy hotel". The hotel seems to be oriented toward leisure travelers visiting the nearby Jersey Shore and Atlantic City. The room I stayed in was somewhat cramped. There was a table with two chairs that also had to serve as a desk. The absence of a real desk with a high-speed Internet connection would be a detriment for any business traveler using this hotel. On the plus side, there is a nice, though rather small, swimming pool. There was also a refrigerator in the room, always a welcome amenity. There are many nice restaurants nearby. I'd particularly recommend Rifici's, which is just down the road toward Atlantic City. The owner is in the process of upgrading the premises, and it may become quite nice in the future. The location is certainly very strategic; most of the famous Jersey Shore is within a short drive. Cape May is less than an hour away.

"This hotel is a disgrace. Open condom wrappers, matting on bathroom floor to cover missing tiles, NO working shower. Several cheaper hotels, equally accessible to casinos, nearby."

Nothing it was horrible. Everything. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT was horrible bugs crawling around. NO room whatsoever They lied about what was in the room. We saw the Jacuzzi in another and it was horrible. you could barely fit into it. When I tried to talk to someone about the room I was dismissed right away. Very rude.
