Normally I don't take internet reviews seriously, but this time i wish i did. i came to Atlanta from NY to attend a wedding. The plan was to book a room with a girlfriend from kansas that was also attending the wedding. Although the hotel was relatively close to the Airport, it was'nt close enough to be called " Travelodge Atlanta Airport". all of the reviews mentioned a wierd smell in the rooms...and sad to say, I SMELLED IT TOO!!! it smelled as if someone and a crate of cigars in the room, got them soaking wet, and let the juices drain into the carpet. there was cable in the room however the the television reception was not very clear. we spent the majority of our stay in Atlanta in clubs and with friends so we were'nt in the room very much how ever i felt like every where we went we could still smell the room. during the day the area looked like any other busy area in ATL...but at night thats when the area changed. there were were many junkies and prostitutes roaming the vicinty on the main street and along the outside of the entrance(thank god for gates. lol) The price was great, but next time i will spend the money and stay at a real HOTEL...not a MOTEL.

Nothing. Don't ever stay at this place.

Located in a very bad neighborhood, but the price is very affordable with a big TV and free Internet. The room had a funk and the bathroom shower was not clean. A roach appeared in the room at one point.

We arrived late after a concert and check in was fairly quick and easy. I realized we weren't in the best place when I saw the rooms were surrounded by a security fence with a gate guard. Our room was on the second floor and we soon discovered that the door didn't properly fit the frame. Our next discovery was that the sink faucet wasn't secured to the sink and that you must hold the base with one hand while adjusting the water flow. After cleaning the hair out of the bathroom we found the shower functioning properly. Our bed had been broken or shoved off it's frame so was a little wobbly. Our bed was fairly comfortable after I reset the frame. Next morning we found the coffee maker had no pot and the blow dryer provided didn't work. At check-out I informed the foreign management of all issues and they focused on the attempted room entry assuring me they would investigate and call me with the results. To date I've heard nothing from them. My Advise is to drive a little further and stay at a better location.

The front desk staff was friendly. The room was very dirty, there were dead roaches. It was horrible. Dirty very dirty. The room was non smoking but it smelled like cigarrette smoke. The towels were dirty. There wee dead roaches in the room.

Me and my fiance stayed in this motel for one night when we visited Atlanta for a broadway show, and we stayed at this place as a last minute decision. We didn't have much of a problem checking in, the staff was friendly enough, but it seemed like somebody was yelling at them (an employee?) when we checked in. The rooms had stains on the chairs and bed. The beds were uncomfortable, not to mention I had trouble sleeping due to the many suspicious and loud people walking around. The hotel is also gated, which still sends up a red flag. When we woke up we went to get breakfast, but to our "surprise" it was already put up (it was only 10 or so). They had a couple of a stale muffins left over though. All in all, I would not recommend this place at all.

Travelodge Atlanta Airport is not that close to the airport. There was no restaurant, at least not one that stayed open as late as we arrived, nor any other amenities that we could see. We only stayed overnight out of necessity. We would not use this hotel otherwise, but do not wish to ding the hotel too much when the situation was created by weather. We hope others had a better experience here.

I wouldn't let my children shower in the restroom or sleep on the blanket or under the sheets. There were roaches everywhere! When we opened the ac unit there were dozens of little roaches.........It was too late to go elsewhere so we put clothes down over the bed and huttled together til the morning. SOMEONE SHOULD REPORT THEM TO THE LOCAL CITY HOUSING CODE ENFORCEMENT!

Sorry to say this, but Travelog is the worst hotel i have ever sleep in. I could not believe myself. I would have rejected it if not because i went there too late and was very tired to look for a better place. I had to change my room, but there was no difference anyway. Every where filled with smell of cigarret. The bathroom is a no go area. I did not take a shawer for fear of contamination. Infact i have no word to explain my feeling.

It was close to the Amphitheatre that we were going to. Thats all. Impossible. Nasty, dirty, seedy motel in a scary location.

I have stayed in plenty of hotels in my time and this was by far the worst ever. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. There is a security gate around the hotel and there were suspicious characters wandering around at all hours of the night. There were roaches in the rooms and I was afraid to go to sleep. Luckily I was sick and had an excuse to go home. Don't stay here!

The worst upkeep ever seen in a franchise hotel. Everything is extremely cheap-looking and very little maintained. The bed was moderately comfortable though. The weird smell was more than usual. Stay here only if you are really short of money, need not stay more than one night but must have wireless internet access. Otherwise skip it.

Nothing. All the bugs! The hotel was disgusting. The wall had roaches crawling on them, and the beds had bed bugs crawling in them. The hotel was absolutely infested!

Horrible! We had to wait for two hours to let them "clean" the room. When they finaly let us enter the room it was very unclean! Stains and very nasty things everywhere! The bathroom had not been cleaned at all! The bed smelled very bad! We had to get fabreez just to be able to stand the smell! We would have left had the need for a room not been so great!

I didn't end up staying there. That was nice. It was disgusting and the staff was rude. The staff was not helpful at all. Our room was disgusting - covered in mold and mildew with roaches crawling around in the refrigerator.

Great hotel. Everything I slept with my 38 on the chair next to me. Very scary. I was placed in a gated hotel with a security guard, only on duty until 3 am. Then the room was dirty enough hair on the bathroom floor to make a dolls wig. Then we had the lovely experience that the door would not bolt shut only the sm lack at the top. Very scary. I slept with a loaded 38 automatic on the chair next to me, next time I've drive in on the morning of the training! Pull this hotel as an option. Had it not been 1 a.m. when I arrived I would have went else were, fast very unhappy in South GA.

It was close to the Airport. There was mildew in the bathroom. Walls were spotty and patched, I didn't let my bare feet touch the floor anywhere in the room. Carpet was nasty looking and dank. Ceilings were poorly patched as were walls where they had obviously been broken. The light fixture over the sink was about to fall off and had paint slopped on the diffuser, Very seedy place with very seedy clientele in a very seedy area.

The rooms was simple and had microwave and fridge. No airport shuttle service. For the price the hotel is o.k. It is located about a 20 dollar taxi ride from the airport. There is no shuttle to the airport so the hotel is best by taxi. There is pizza delivery at that delivers to the room of the hotel. A free continental breakfast in the morning. (which off sets the price of the taxi) Other than the name appearing to be near the airport, it is a small distance away and this is o.k. place.
