Does exactly what it says on the tinLuxery accommodation this is not but it is close to the airport, the room was clean and slept the 4 of us with ease and for 54 Euro it was extremely good value for money.

Good location, easy access to day trips around Dublin. Friendly staff

This was a very very basic Travelodge, considering that I've stayed in a few over the years which have had much better facilities such as breakfast bar, decent restaurant and much less expensive. More suitable for travelling tradesmen who just need a clean room for the night, but don't expect much else.

west of city centre, however just a short ride on double decker bus to city centre. the front desk people were very helpful and pleasent. we used all the travelodges thoughout ireland and found them to be very nice for the budget oriented family traveler.

All in all it was a nice stay. Totally missed the entrance the first drive by, but I am associating that with learning how to drive on the other side of the road. Room was clean, and staff was very friendly.

One night StayGood location with on a €2 bus ride into the city. Very good price. Rooms fine, it is a travel lodge and very basic, but good. Restaurant near the lodge good value, friendly service. We were on the ground floor and noise very late evening and well into the early morning terrible. As shame otherwise everything was fine. Will ask for a 2nd floor room next time.Efficient receptions staff.

Excellent ServiceWhen we arrived our room faced the road and it was a bit noisey so I asked if we could be moved to another room. This was done with no problem and we ended up in a very quiet room.On the last day we were getting a late flight and the hotel were very accommodating about holding our bags behind reception for us so we could make the most of the day.

Thought you'd take your dog?I have stayed at numerous Travellodges before and never been charged for taking my small dog. I had a look on the website and didn't see a mention of a fee. I was charged 20 EUROs on arrival, which I thought was a bit steep, especially without any warning.

It Does Exactly What It Says On The TinYou have to remember that this is a Travel Lodge. It's basic accommodation, but clean and reasonable value for money. The staff were really helpful. As we didn't have a car staff printed off bus timetables for us on request. There was a problem with the TV aerial which meant that I couldn't watch the Bahrain GP. The manager did everything that he could to resolve the situation, unfortunately as it was a weekend his hands were tied. I saw the TV repair van on the day that I was due to leave, Monday morning. My son has a number of food allergies. Staff in the restaraunt were really accommodating.

Value for moneyI booked this hotel via laterooms.com for only EURO22. It is really value for money although I have a problem with the shower head (probably it happened to my room only). Other than that, it should be a very good idea if the hotel management can open a short cut pathway to the bus stop so that you will not have to go there via main entrance.

great for familysthe room was perfect for us as a family the only fault i could find was the restaurant was over priced and under staffed

OK for a cheap short term visitRoom is reasonable size and quality although the walls are paperthin and there is lots of noise from other guests on all sides. Best thing going for it is the price really.

broken shower controls, TV remote not operational

The receptionist was very abrupt and unfriendly. In fact, she asked for payment when we checked-in, and I asked her to check as I thought it was already paid for. She very abruptly replied that it wasn't and that it was just a reservation, and so she charged my credit-card. Only today did I receive my bank statement and found that I had actually paid on the 16th September, and was re-charged on the 15th October. In fact, I would appreciate if you could help me with this. The room was cold, and there was only a sofa in the room where my daughter could sleep. There was a nasty smell in the corridor (a cleaning solvent smell), but cannot say the room was too bad.

My comments could be for any one of Travelodges sites - the \"fast food\" of the hotel industry. Always one near when you need it, expect the basic and you won't be disappointed, and always leaves you thinking \"I wish I had paid a little bit more and had the real thing\". Pleasant reception staff and easy to get to

the hotel was good, the people behind the desk were friendly, but not very helpfull. the Metza restaurant is a complete wast of space. it has no ambience. it is just a place to eat, not cosy. put just a few flowers in it.

Stayed here with our two young children. Bed linen in double bed was damp and room not that clean. Good location for the airport.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
Good place to stay for a familly heading to the zoo or Blanchardstown shopping centre. Resteraunt co-located with the hotel is very expensive for breakfast, average prices for dinner.
Date of Stay:
April, 2008
The best thing about this hotel is that it has parking. Other than that it has no character or facilities and is very basic.
