stayed there one nite got charged 80euro when i checked in at 2.00am which taught was expensive because i was only staying a few hrs!!night porter was very unhelpful and rude didnt like the rooms at all very dirty.. was a lot of noise made while i stayed there, when i complained nothing was said to the room making noise it was very disappointing i wouldnt even recommend this to my worst enemy.. NEVER EVER AGAIN

Poor ValueI was tempted into taking this hotel because the hotel facilities included "restaurant". This turned out to be an adjacent alcohol-free fast-food outlet from a chain called Eddy Rockets that does not fit my definition of "restaurant". I walked a mile up the road to find proper food. Apart from that, there were problems with the plumbing in the room, including low water pressure and water the colour of tea. There was a shortage of power sockets. The Internet stations in reception were out of order. It was not cheap. There were at least 12 cheaper hotels in the area, including Isaac's Hotel that I know is superb. This was really basic. I have stayed in Travelodges before. I just need to remind myself that this is the kind of place to stay only when the campsite is full.

Older Travelodge and the floors creak a bit! Clean, Cheap , Safe. Theres an american style diner attached called Eddie Rockets, good value. Its right between the Airport and the city, but beside a major road. Still, its very quiet with the windows closed. I stay here regularly and would recommend it

I was pleasantly surprised how quiet this location was. The rooms at the back face onto some woods and I have never stayed anywhere as quiet. Not sure if that would be the case at the front of the building. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Couldn't ask for more and excellent price. Will use again.

Very basic but if you just need a room to sleep with essential facilities a very good and cheap place to stay.Be prepared for creaking floors!!

Over all quality of hotel.I would describe this travelodge and other ones in the group to be in need of maintenance. The rooms are needing refurbished and they are tired. The beds are soft, the furniture is damaged and the TV not in very good working order. i use it for business because it is handy but i certainly wouldn't bring my wife there for unless for a single night stay within a tight budget. I just find them grubby but sufficient for use as a business stop over. In late out early.

I thought the hotel was great for the price of money. Im not the type to pick out faults but the only two things i could say about the hotel that aren't pleasant was that i felt the rooms were too cold, but im one of these people who like to sleep in extreme heat. And secondly, one side of my bed was missing springs or something. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay, ha, and the fact they have an Eddie Rockets on site....... I will recomend this in future.

having stayed in travelodges all over the UK this was the first time I used one in Eire. it was a standard room the only difference I found was the level of cleanliness. The hallways smelt of damp and the rooms were not that clean. I did pass comment to the reception desk but as he was from Estern Europe and unable to understand what I was saying, nothing changed

More suited to travelers than people wishing to see Cork city itself, as it is a fair way out of town. In comparison to our other accommodation on our trip around Ireland this is best described as functional and convenient for fliers to and from Cork.

It takes too long to check into Travel Lodges in general. It took us about 20 mins and we were the only people at the front desk.

Bedroom clean and neat, but would benefit from some refurbishment, ie, curtains had a hole, tv didnt work with remote control,ans bath needs replacing. Staff very helpful and friendly.

A clean, safe hotel for those that don't need extras (shampoo, pay per view, inclusive breakfast). The food at the adjoining 50's style restaurant was good, but as with all restaurants in Ireland, it was expensive.

very misleading regarding closeness to town and local pubs there is nothing close at all 10 minute car ride to town.
