Good and badHello, the staff of the hotel is very professional, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and nicely big. No problems.BUT: all the nights were so extremely noisy, at least until 1:30 a.m., from the bars around, that we could not sleep. It was absolutely unbearable. So for that reason I cannot recommend the Travelodge Central.Guenther Schorkopf

We took a shuttle bus from Belfast Central train station to City Center, then walked a couple of blocks to hotel. The twin room was spacious and clean but there was only one chair and no table, not adequate for two people. If staying for more than one night, I would have requested more furniture. The wall mounted flat panel television is angled for someone standing and not adjustable for viewing from bed. Other hotels nearby may offer better amenities for the same price. I would book the Jurys on my next Belfast stay.

We had a room by the noisy fire door, the window was facing the entrance to busy club so noise again up to three AM. Average cleanliness actually more on bad side In the bathroom there were towels and one really small soap with huge inscription Complimentary. The telly was functional but we din not manage to switch off "the extra option" that was showing green faces and purple sky. There is no car park for guests we have been told to park outside the hotel by the entrance to the pub what was impossible. The receptionist hasn't told us about the car park located on the small road just 50 meters from the hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of the city but unfortunately that particular road is also a heart of nightlife which is not good for everyone. If you don't care about gpood service and you visiting Belfast for night out at the pubs then this place should be good enough for you, otherwise not recommended

Good value, centralThe room was spacious, clean and comfortable, if (inevitably, being in the centre of town) a little - the clock chimes every quarter hour, but stops between 11pm and 8am! This room at the back was otherwise quite quiet - visitors in rooms at the front suffer from the sound of pub revellers and music. The attached restaurant which provides breakfast and dinner, if wished, is excellent. A big pity they don't store luggage after check-out - although they pointed us towards the tourist centre, which does, this made our last day more complicated than necessary. Part of the attraction of this hotel is that it is right by the bus station, where you can get a shuttle bus to the airport - but if you have to lug bags and suitcases back and forth from elsewhere, then that is no help.

Enjoyable StayStayed in the Belfast Central Travelodge and my Girlfriend and I were pleased with the stay but would say that the room we were put in did not have a window that opened properly (209) and so it was like an oven but as we were only staying in the city for a night we didn't worry too much about it. Situated a short walk from Victoria bus and rail station so we were happy with that and it was also pretty central to the shops and pubs. Would recommend staying if you are visiting the city, its cheap as per normal with many Travelodges and the staff are helpful as we asked on several times for directions to different places which they helped us out with. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Standard TravelodgeThe room was standard for a Travelodge, clean and tidy with everything as expected. The receptionist was a little preoccupied on arrival, and I feel the welcome could have been better; however the check in was efficient. The room was facing a pub, with windows closed the music was not too loud at all, and all was quiet about Midnight. This didn't affect my sleep at all, however light sleepers would perhaps be best to request a more quiet room.

grottyif ever there was a word that expalined this hotel it is "grotty" staff were good, but let down by the condition of our room, dirty floor, carpet unclean, window broke, mould round the bath, shower went from freezing cold to boiling hot, dents in the wall, furniture in poor condition, as shame as location is good and restaurant attached is very good.

The hotel was well situated for the city centre, bus station, restaurants, and bars. Having arrived in Belfast mid-day we went directly to the hotel to hopefully leave our luggage. There were no facilities to leave luggage. We had to pay and extra £10.00 to check into our room early so that we could leave our luggage. As we stayed here on a Saturday evening it was exceptionally noisey in the streets/square outside until 2.00/3.00a.m. Such a pity that the double glazed windows did not cut the noise down. Our travelling companion was given a room at the back of the hotel, and although he had no outlook, his room was much quieter. The Olio restaurant next door served great food at a reasonable price.

Room to avoid503 - severe plumbing problems, when you flushed the toilet it sounded as if the builders plus cement mixer were in the bathroom for 15 minutes!! We were moved to the 2nd floor with no problems.

Worst Night in a hotel at the Travelodege everMy husband stayed in the Travelodge, Belfast on Friday 29th May and we both agree it was the worst night we have ever spent in a hotel. The heating was unbelievably hot, they must spend a fortune on their heating bills. As soon as you enter the corridor to the bedrooms the heat hits you. In the bedroom it was even worse! The radiator was cold so we couldn't work out where the heat was coming from. The ceiling tiles were coming up and it felt as if someone could come in through the ceiling. The water in the bathroom is crazy hot as well - be careful of this as it's really easy to burn yourself with it. We initially fell asleep but the room got hotter and hotter until we both woke at 4.00 a.m. roasting hot!! It felt like being in an unairconditioned room in Turkey at the height of the Summer. We had to wet a towel put it on our face to try and try and cool down. It felt like the experience couldn't get any worse until the girls in the next room came back from a night out and spoke as if they were in the room with us - the walls are paper thin - we could hear every word they were saying and they weren't speaking loudly at all - it felt like we were part of their conversation. Any further sleep was impossible and we waited, in the heat, until 8.00 a.m. to leave. Please don't make the same mistake we did - you would think a Travelodge would be standardised but this really is terrible, unlike any other Travelodge we've stayed in. Avoid it!!!

You Get What You Pay For!!Overall the travelodge is a 3* Basic but located very central in the City and local amenities are a short walk away. Can be very noisy til the early hours due to local nightlife. I was lucky to pay a discounted £29 per night with Late Rooms.Com but would not have been happy to pay £69 per night which is average. Ideal for a quick get away for a night or a long weekend. Reception Staff are friendly and helpful.
