I was strickly there for business. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the price was right. It's not fancy, new, or anything exciting so if you are picky about were you stay, this probably isn't for you.

Location, service. It was all good. Room seemed to smell a bit musty at first. Either we got used to it or it disappeared but wasn't enough to spoil our opinion. Living room, bedroom, kitchenette.

For the price; the room size, cleanliness, and location were just right for us. We were able to walk to different restaurants as well as walking the beach.

The La Jolla Beach Travel Lodge was comfortable and attractively furnished. Staff was courteous and friendly. The enclosed bathroom was small but adequate with shower, sink, and counter. Our room had a queen size bed with comfortable bedding and mattress. The room had a small table with two chairs, refrigerator, microwave oven, dresser, TV, 2 nightstands, a suitcase stand, and space for hanging clothes. We enjoyed our stay in this motel and felt it was reasonably priced.

Travel Lodge was so conveniently located to La Jolla Village. The Mexican restarant Su Casa had the best fish tacos and great margarrittas. Between 4 & 7 in the bar is happy hour and you can eat ala cart cheap! The shower had great pressure and the water was soft. Clean room, great service, definetly will go back. It was easy to get to main attractions and front desk staff gave mapped direction to anything we asked about.

The Travelodge was close to Windansea Beach and was a good value for this upscale area. It was clean and well maintained.
