I really liked the location. Walking distance to main street in hyannis and nice beaches nearby. I really enjoyed Kalmus Beach located down Ocean street, it was a lot more peaceful and had great views of the sail boats. The only thing was the room was a bit dirty, the walls were cracked, the door was very fragile, I felt as if, anyone could just barge in. But the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was ok. Clean and quiet. The drain in the shower took a while to drain. Pretty gross if you shave in the shower. The bed was well used and lumpy..

I arrived late in the evening for a very brief stay before traveling to an early morning meeting nearby on Cape Cod. Check in was quick and efficient, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot in the morning. When I went to check out (at roughly 6:15 AM) there was nobody in the office, so I had to leave my keys in the room and simply leave.

We stayed at Hyannis Travel Inn for 4 nights. Friendly, very efficient and (who lives on the premises)well dressed hotel manager offered good suggestions for dinner out as soon as we checked in(Spanky's Crab Shack), a suggestion for a morning trip(to Chatham) before we had to return to Boston and even when I had to go to find a nearby clinic on the 2nd day. There was a busload of senior citizens booked for the same period, there was always more than enough food from coffee, juice, bagels, pancakes, waffles that you put into the toaster and 3 varieties of cold cereal. There was a very friendly male attendant on duty who kept resupplying whatever was being diminished even the pastry and milk. The hotel was centrally located and within easy walking distance to the town shops and we even walked to the Hy-Line ferry that can take you to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. We rented a car and used it for driving to the Cape Cod Mall, restaurants, and driving to the tip of the cape to Provincetown. The 2 ladies that took care of the room always had fresh towels and toiletries and kept the room very tidy. You use your key to enter the building. There were 3 floors and no elevators but it was okay. Very safe. Coudln't figure how to use the a/c but the heater worked fine. I would certainly return to stay there again.

we arrived very late and our air conditioning was not working. The front desk clerk found us another room and assisted us with our move. they went out of their way to be helpful.

The hotel is older, but clean. It is surprising nice for a lower priced hotel. Some rooms are better than others. Our first room was old, dingy, and the exterior wood around the windows was rotting (you could see this while on the balcony). We asked for another room and they were very accommodating. The next room was fine. The free continental breakfast is a nice benefit. The location is great. It is 1 block from Main Street with shops and restaurants and about 3/10 mile to the harbor. There is a free shuttle that runs from Main St. to the harbor or beach. We liked that we could leave our car parked and walk or take the shuttle since the traffic is horrendous, expecially when the ferries come in.

It was a little old but overall clean and comfortable. We were basically looking for a place to sleep - not looking to enjoy the amenities. The pool was a plus but we didn't have the time to use it.
