Overview:
Alpenhotel Traube is a small, cosy, family-run hotel located in the centre of Kirchberg in Tirol, 6 km from Kitzbühel.
Many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. In summer the hotel is next to the lake, the golf courses (30% greenfee reduction) and the cable car, while in winter skiing is possible right next to the hotel. Alpenhotel Traube offers comfortable single rooms, double rooms, apartments with 2 and 3 rooms, and family rooms with 3 rooms.

| Probably we have been only unlucky: our room (n.100) was the only one placed on ground floor and then was very humid (also if it was August). I can suppose that people placed on the 1st and 2nd floor were OK. We have arrived late (21:00) and no one was in reception: the room key was placed on a box near the front door. This has been not a problem because we have received instructions via email from the hotel just after we booked online. |

| Very nice family-run hotel.Good location close to all amenities.Booked a single room,ended up with a double with balcony which was a nice surprise!Made to feel very much at home. |

| I had only one less than perfect experience: one evening the hotel was unable to provide hot water in the bathroom and the explanation was that the other customers used it. Probably they need to extend the water boiling system. Otherwise everything was OK. Best regards Istvan |

| Very pleased with the Traube. Beautiful area with fantastic views. We wanted a place off the beaten path and could not have been happier. Prices were great compared to larger cities. The only down side was the distance to areas like Salzburg and Neuschwanstein. We used Traube as a base for several days as we visited other areas. The drive was longer than anticipated to these areas. However, I would highly recommend the Kitzbuel area and the Traube to everyone who is visiting the area. |

| We had a very enjoyable holiday at this hotel, it was very clean, quiet and spacious as we were the only people in the hotel. It was out of season when we visited. The owners were very helpful and there if we needed them. |

| Hotel situated on main road, therefore lots of traffic noise if room at front as ours was. En-suite facillites very small.Proprieters were extremely friendly and very helpful I wold certainly use this hotel again if in the area. |
