rooms are dirty house keeping is a joke never been in a dirty motel as this.Laundry knocked on the door 5 time between 8:30-10:00 didn't have to be out till 11:00am. They need to do something with the Laundry department.Housekeepers need to go to 5 star motel and learn how to clean. not even a 3 star motel

We were in town for a soccer meet and decided to make reservations at the Trails End and am I glad I did they just painted the bank of rooms we were in and new carpet. You just keep getting better. The General Manager brought coffee to our room personally (now thats service) spoke to us like we were family. Our kids loved the pool and morning breakfast. WE WILL BE BACK THANKS LAREE

This hotel, was clean, quite and had the best continental breakfast I've seen. Very close to the train tracks; however, that is most of their business.

My wife and I came to Sheridan for a doctors appointment at the VA when we were told that they would put us up at the Trails End Motel my wife and I both told them no we had stayed here in years past and we would not stay there, we were told that is where they would put us up at so we had no choice THANK YOU VA!!! This place is great and the staff one of a kind, the General Manager spoke to us like we were familly and made sure we had everything we need. The lounge is great (non-smoking) and the breakfast (not cold cereal and a roll) Hot food made fresh. We will be back. Thanks

My family and I reserved a room here based on the rates and the pool. The hotel has recently been tastefully redecorated, and the rooms were basic and comfortable. The pillowtop mattress guaranteed a very restful night's sleep. The staff was conscientious and extremely pleasant, even though it seems they are still in the early stages of getting the motel "up and running" under new owners. The restaurant is still very new and their menu is limited to only a few items. The lounge was classy. The continental breakfast was good and offered several choices. The indoor pool, in a separate building, is very small but clean. The motel is very conveniently located and was easy to find after getting off the interstate. Downtown Sheridan is located within driving distance right down the same street. Caveats: The rooms are located within a 'campus' of separate buildings. If booking more than one room, find out whether the rooms are actually next to each other or not. Parking seemed like it could become a little tight (for example if you have a trailer), but was not a problem for us. Our room had a key-card security entrance but no peep-hole on the door. Also, no details regarding the hotel's policies or maps were provided in the room. The front desk, however, was more than accommodating when we phoned to ask. Bottom line: Not a five-star hotel, but clean, comfortable and one of the least-expensive in town.

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was awesome! The room(s) had a strange smell that bothered me. The staff was wonderful. If you ask for ice, they give you an entire bag! The lobby, lounge and breakfast area have all been recently remodeled and are very nice. The continental breakfast was worth the price of the room! Eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, fresh cinnamon rolls, waffles and more. The rooms had brand new pillow top beds and comfy pillows. My only complaint was that the room had a smell. I couldn't quite pin down what it was, musty? Ammonia base cleaner? And there was no way to open a window to air it out. All in all, I would recommend this motel!

Great breakfast included and indoor pool. This is a traditional older motel in a small town. We had two bedrooms, comfortable, clean, Spartan with friendly staff. Has it's own bar and cafe, other families there. Good referral to downtown cafe by staff, nice downtown. It was a good, stop over one night motel. Excellent full breakfast and a nice indoor pool.
