The Most Well Equipped B&B in the WorldThis B&B has received many awards that are thoroughly deserved. It is more than a B&B and combines the convenience of a hotel's facilities with the warmth of a B&B. You do pay more but it shows and then some.

Everything you hope for in a B&B and moreVery nice accommodation, clean and tastefully decorated. A peaceful location close to the center of town and restaurants. The service was good and the breakfast excellent. I'll definitely go back when I'm Inverness again.

Best stay ever!In a word: Brilliant! Being the the industry ourselves, I can honestly say that Trafford Bank completely exceeded our expectation - something that's not easy to do. It's situated close enough to the centre of Inverness for a nice walk, but far enough so that traffic isn't a factor. The welcome was good - Koshal met us at the door, took us through all the amenities and up to the room. The Floral Suite was amazing! All amenities you can dream of, including 3 types of bath salts, 2 bath soaks/shower gel, shampoo, etc, robes, slippers, 32 inch TV, DVD & CD players, IPod docking station, sherry decanter, 2 hairdryers and even hair straighteners! The breakfast was the best I've had in a long time - fresh fruit salad with berries (something I consider a real treat), local cheeses... The hot breakfast was of such a nature that my partner couldn't finish it - not something that happens often! We'll definitely be back as soon as we can, and can recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic getaway, or just a getaway in general.

B&B at its bestFrom the moment you enter you know that you have found a B&B that bit special. The warm welcome ,excelent facilities with those extra few touches that make all the differance. The breakfast would be tough to match at any 5 star hotel. We where made very welcome and the advice with regarding things to do and places to eat was most usefull. I would recomend this B&B to all.

Highly RecommendedWe only stayed at Trafford Bank for 1 night but wished it was much longer. Our room was what you would expect of a boutique 5 star hotel and the breakfast was superb. Our stay exceeded our expectations and if we are in Inverness again we would definitely stay again.

A hidden gem in the Highlands.Trafford Bank is a beautiful well run house with extremely comfortable surroundings, the attention to detail is second to non. The food is excellent, the wide and varied menu for breakfast will suite all tastes.

Victorian gemAs a location near downtown Inverness, this works very well, 10 minute walk down a quiet residential street to center city. For drivers, easy access off main highways through town. The house and gardens are clean, bright, fresh, carefully maintained. Those who like Victoriana will love the house, though furnishings are modern. Free wi-fi a plus. Breakfast room is glass enclosure adjoining patio and carefully maintained flower garden. My only, very small, criticism, is that I would hav liked a comfortable easy chair in my room.

Exactly what we wantedOur stay in this hotel was perfect - we wanted a nice, clean place to stay while in town for a romantic dinner and were not disappointed. We don't like bland, generic hotels and were looking for something more homely and genuine. This is exactly what we found at Trafford Bank, and our host did a very good job of making us feel welcome.Note to future guests - we got a bit lost finding the hotel at first, but the locals are very friendly (everyone is up North!) and were more than happy to help. Still, print out the location map if you're at all unsure.

It has been a long time since I stayed in a B&B, however if they were all like this one I would happily stay more often. This is a first class B&B, excellent in all respects. Small thing, I would like to have seen a choice of newspapers, with only 5 rooms and 3 times for breakfast 3/4 papers would just about accommodate everyone. Generally top notch B&B

Top class, excellent room and food. The best I've ever experiencedThis B and B is excellent and well worth every great review its had. It is a bit further from town than some but well worth the walk. The rooms are lovely, the food is perfect and I really cant think of anything negative to say.

A perfect stayAbsolutely deserves its reputation for being a great B&B, we stayed in the Blue room and loved it. We had a great big comfy bed, lovely bath and there was a great selection of DVDs to choose from. Breakfast was amazing - try the porridge with cream, you won't regret it. The breakfast room is lovely. The couple who run the B&B are very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this to anybody, it is great and really good value for money.
