Well, this was my first vacation ever. I stayed here and waited for my fiance to arrive after not seeing him in almost two months. The palm trees in the halls was beautiful and I also like this hotel was not a cookie cutter stay. It was fun with the restaurant and bar, and all their deals they offered. It was a romantic place for the man I have been missing and me.

This hotel was very ran down. The bathroom was missing some glass from the window.

Free Shuttle to Airport! Wifi Available! Back Packers heaven! The suites are fine for a couple or two people friends! This place has a resturant and bar, very good set up. The reception couldnt be more helpful!

Very clean rooms. Good price for short stay only. Location is ok and too noisy...can hear every single airplane that lands and takes off from LAX!

Stayed for 3 nights in March, 2009. This place is more like a youth hostel than a hotel. Noise into the wee hours of the morning, right in a flight path over LAX. Neighborhood fine, as long as you don't walk outside... Dead bolt lock hung half detached from our room door, no hand towels stocked as a matter of course, refrigerator freezer frosted over, crusty ice trays of an indeterminate age. "Suite" is just having a wall in the middle of the room, decor out of a horror movie -- Hawaiian print curtains, plaid bedspreads. Limited TV - not even ESPN or CNN, in the one room of the "suite" that had a TV. Will not be returning.

Ive been to LA a few times in the past and I try all different hotels. This one by far was the worst. I had plans to stay for 5 days. Once I saw the room, I called up the travel agency and complained and they got my money back and I went to another hotel across town the next day. When we got there, they offered alot of free things which sounded nice, but as soon as you saw the room, it was horrible. Electral outlets werent working, wires were hanging from the ceiling, the bathroom had ants crawling on the dirty sink. The bathtub was rusty and dirty including the shower head. Even the television had a terrible picture. The noise factor is unbelieveable. People blasting music and drinking on the balcony until all hours of the night. Finally fell asleep and at 5am heard loud crashing and talking from people outside. The WORST place ever to stay! DONT DO IT!!

The generosity of this place is unexplainable, since you get so much value for your money. This is the place where the new America will be born. This place has lots of personality. If you are a writer suffering from writer's block and want to meet some genuine folks who will provide stimulating conversation, book a couple of nights here.

Staff was very friendly, the hotel itself is dirty and noisy. The wireless internet was horrible. Shuttle drivers are VERY friendly.

THE HOTEL HAD A MOUSE IN THE ROOM! The hotel was aware of this problem. We had to change room in the middle of the night.

I stayed in the bunkroom, and in a shared room with 4 beds. The room with 4 beds was better as I expected, with TV and fridge and phone. The bunkroom was good for a bunkroom as well. Better mattrass as expected. Staff was mostly very friendly. There was coffee/tea all day and night, and often cookies left at night from the afternoon. The setup encouraged interaction with other travelers in the partly covered courtyard, which was nice. The free dinner was not a great meal, but what can you expect for the prices charged? I was happy to have my husband book me in again for the nights I had left before my flight home.

Very reasonable for the price. Definately more a backpackers hotel but was still OK for us oldies.

The hotel was actually better than expected. :) For the all you can eat buffet, I would suggest that you don't only serve carbohydrates (fries, potato balls, rice and chips). While maybe meat would be too expensive, some sort of vegetable would be nice. The staff at front desk could be a bit more friendly too. Other than the new girl that helped me, the rest of the staff were not as friendly as her.

this hotel had 5 rooms rented. you can see this due to all rooms are located on catwalks. we slept standing up. clothes on . paint peeling from ceiling. ants in bathtub. room smelled of mold. very bad. was advised by employee not to walk street as was bad area. drunken women walking in hotel courtyard area, very drunk and bruised, known by name, to front desk. she seemed to have a regular room there. i took this room because i had 8 hours between flights, connecting from tuesday night to wednesday morning. i should have stayed at airport. would have been cleaner. this was my first visit to a on line website. probably my last. it was no way worth the money i spent. best part was the van to and from airport.

The security was so bad we hardly slept all night. We would've slept better just staying at LAX terminal. Door knocking and partying continued loudly throughout the night and we received a call at 4:30AM looking for someone (presumably one of the dozens of party people). This should be a negative star rating. Wish I had read reviews before booking!

The Tradewinds Airport Hotel, also marketed as the Los Angeles Adventurer Hotel is a complete dump, even in comparison to the Motel 6 down the street. A million termites in my room. The towels were nasty (not clean) and the service was terrible. The service is about the worst I have ever experienced.

It was the worst hotel ever stayed in my life. I was made to believe during the booking that it was an hotel but was dissapointed to find my self in a backpaker as we call that type of place in Australia. I was told that guest pay $25 to share the room but orbitz book it for $60 for me. I am demanding a refund as soon AS possible. I will tell all my friend and relatives in Australia and USA not to make booking through this company again. IT WAS VERY DISSSAPOINTING AND SHAMEFUL!!!!
