Visited Route 66 Museum across the street from Hotel. Polite staff. Pleased to find fridge and microwave in room. Also had coffe pot in room. Continental breakfast could be improved.

Nothing. When we arrived there were no towels, the room was dirty and one of the beds was not even made.

I stayed here one weekend on business and was told that I didnt need to give a credit card over the phone. So I was pretty psyched. I came to Tradewinds Sunday morning as I told them I would and rang the doorbell as the sign said if it was not during business hours. I was in the cold ringing the bell for over 30 minutes!! Then I called the hotel and finally someone picked up and asked me if I had a reservation and I said yes. I was then told to hang on and she hung up on me. Another 10 minutes goes by,....no one comes to the door or calls me baack and finally she comes to the front door to let me in. I got my t and paid an EXACT 43 and NO cents. I was pleased this is what I was told over the phone.I went to my room where it smelled HORRIBLE, my TV was on, it was freezing in there as well, and I dont think the sheets on that bed had been changed since the last grubby person (whenever that was) slept in it. I was sick at my stomach. I felt like I was a flinstone the bed was so hard! There was NO contenential breakfast I had to go get my own from Mc Donalds. I guess you get what you pay for? Then to make matters worse I came back out the nest weekend and was planning on giving them the benefit of the doubt. They told me the room for the same day 1 week later was 55 and that there was NO WAY that I could've got a room for 43. They called me a liar and were EXTREMELY RUDE. needless to say I went elsewhere.

The room was large, and clean, but we had NO hot water, and when I told the desk clerk, she just looked at me. Then the Manager came to the room, turned on the water facet, felt the water, and left. The next morning, 6:00 am I am still trying to find out why I have no hot water, manager nor any staff was at the hotel, so when I called the number to the hotel I got the manager at his house!! I finally did get water, but I believe they turn off or down the water heaters when no one is staying in the rooms. Will pay the extra, to make sure next year I have hot water, when I want it.

Nothing. It was a dump. The motel was a dump. I was very disappointed in the motel.

Nothing at all. There were bugs, no hot water, no breakfast. Unfriendly staff. Upon arrival the owner or manager was very unfriendly. Getting into the room we found that we had a single bug in our bed. Then the next morning I woke up to attend a graduation so when I went to take a shower the was no hot water, not even warm water. Then when I called the front desk the same lady from the night before said that I was lying and that she knows for sure that my room had hot water. I would not stay in this hotel ever again even if it was free. I would much rather sleep in my car or a tent.

Nothing. It is a terrible place, in poor condition and overall very shabby.A very poor value at any cost.

Not much. Not enough cups, no coffee, unclean wash cloths, about five minutes of running water before any hot water, etc. my last time for this motel.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
Nothing. Decor, cleanliness, lack of operative lights and conveniences. Stay away!

Nothing. This hotel was horrible! There were bugs crawling in the lobby, the room was dirty and there was no electricity. Do not ever stay here! The manager was rude, the hotel has bugs, there were frogs crawling around the pool, the room was filthy and smoke-filled, and there was no electricity in the room. I refused to stay here--it was that nasty.

Nothing. Everything. It was scary, I wouldn't want my worst enemy to have to stay there!

We needed rooms within a close distance from Weatherford, ok. No handicap accessible bathroom, all rooms were smoky. For the location in which we were, we needed a place for 6 people, including one recovering from knee surgery. The rooms were clean but smoky, the decor/beds/furniture was old and one mattress was completely worn out with a large hole in it. The breakfast was coffee, juice, cold cereal and packaged muffins. This is a family run motel that seems to have some long term patrons, probably oil field workers. Grills for cooking were outside of several rooms. This kind of patron is most likely going to be fine in this motel. However, it fell short of our expectations.

It was just ok for sleeping didn't like anything else. Grounds unkept, dogs running around loose & in rooms, people hanging around outside drinking. I was very disappointed to find that you had a motel of such poor quality. I will certainly think twice about staying again.

Good location. No hot water in the morning. End tables were not clean. I'm glad I took a shower the night we arrived because when I got up the next morning to wash my hair the water was cold. The carpet next to the sink was also getting wet due to a water leak that could not be seen.

The room was a large open space and seemed fairly clean, with a decent bed and heat could be adjusted.. The grounds were dilapidated and unattractive. There is nothing that is really attractive about the place. We did not eat there. I am surprised that it would have the same star rating as a Hampton which in my opinion is far superior.

That I got to leave alive. Unsafe at any time of day, mold, ceiling holes, no alarm clock, broken windows, shopping carts in hallways. Never stay at the Trade Winds, even on a bet or a dare. The single staff member I saw picked a fight with me, the rooms are filled with mold and hair, they have Best Western ice tubs, but Motel 8 cups and Motel 6 soap, dogs tied to the stairs, dark, unlit hallways, strange odors, other non-staff members looked dangerous, empty beer cartons, empty coffee tubs filled with cigarette and tobacco spit, trash cans collecting rain runoff, odd used chairs outside in hall path, yellow police tape on one room with door half open, broken window in our room above door, unsafe, unclean, dangerous, do not stay ever!

Inexpensive. Cost of internet service. Exterior area unsightly with windblown trash collecting in corners. Adjacent restaurant closed. Curb appeal was minimal.
