Townhouse Hotel is a typical small monumental canal house located right in the heart of the central canal district of Amsterdam. The hotel’s superb location offers very easy access to all the city’s attractions , while surrounded by tree-lined canals and small cobblestone streets for those romantic walks. The Townhouse Hotel building dates back from 1689. To add comfort for the modern traveller the hotel has been renovated and decorated in the winter of 2006. The hotel offers 10 rooms with views over the canal , upon availability , comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. The hotel has rooms with a private shower and a shared shower. Other facilities in each room are a sink , coffee and tea facilities , a safety box , cable TV , a hairdryer and free Lan Internet connection . All rooms are sharing the toilets , which are cleaned many times a day. The hotel has no elevator and does not serve breakfast , but around the corner in 'Utrechtsestraat' there you will find many breakfast restaurants. The hotel wants to make you feel at home by providing their guests a comfortable , safe and unforgettable stay. Please Note: - Check-in is at the ITC hotel &44 located across the street of the Townhouse Hotel (Prinsengracht 1051); - Please inform the hotel about your arrival time; - You can cancel the room 7 days before date of arrival. If cancelled less then 7 days before arrival the hotel will charge the whole stay; The hotel accepts AMEX credit cards for payment or to guarantee your booking; - The hotel has an extra building as well , close to the hotel (a 2-minute walk from the hotel) , and there is a possibility that guests are booked into this building. - Your room might be situated in the annex , very near to the main building , and stairs may be steep.
