Starting from, May through part of November of 09. I have been staying at this hotel. I travel all over the United States so hotels are my second home. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are good. My stay with Towne place has been pleasant. The only complaint I had was the wireless internet not having a stable connection. The staff did their best to help all they could. Even had tech support come out and work with me to resolve the problem. I couldn't ask for more. none the less, it remained a problem that frustrated myself as well as management. The price is a bit high for long term stays but worth it with the tax break. Now that the tax break is no longer a part of their perks, I will be leaving, hoping to find something reasonably rated for my long stays. All in all though! If I were passing through or staying for a few days, this place definitely has my business. Shopping is just across the road and several dinner places and a car wash! Special thanks to Colin and Jeanette for their professionalism and friendly attitude.

Received no discounts for The Long Stay. Me and my wife are both disabled, Living on Social Security, had to have handicap room. The room we were placed in was at the end of the building that had two steps to get into door, before going upstairs (in elavator) to our room. If we did not use that entry door, and used the handicap entry door we had to walk the whole length of the building to get to the elavator. Should have handicap entry at all Doors. Not Just one. Handicap rooms should all be downstairs.

Conveniently located near I-10/I-12. Motel staff was courteous and helpful. A bit overpriced, i.e. jacking up the price because they have a continental breakfast - You can call it a continental breakfast if you like Nutrigrain bars and packaged muffins.

The staff was friendly. It's a non-smoking hotel that smelled strongly of smoke. A little off the beaten path, this hotel was a nice quiet hotel. The studio suite was a little small and the sofa sleeper was terrible. They had a nice little breakfast in the morning but seemed to have problems keeping it stocked. I would stay again.

Easy check-in. Large rooms. Very clean. Tasteful. On a very busy street. Very tasteful rooms. Everything was perfect. Right on a river (bayou?) where you could bring a drink and watch the sunset. It's not too large, but obviously built for business travelers.

Excellent work space, flat screen LCD TV. Smelled like clorox.

Very clean with a very friendly staff. The room was well equipped - kitchenette and a flat screen television. The room, as well as the common areas of the hotel, were extremely clean and inviting. The staff was wonderful! I was very comfortable at this hotel during my stay and would definately stay there again.

The room was equipped with all the things we needed. The smoke detector went off and stayed on two times for no reason. The hotel was in a good location. The room was spacious and clean. Our stay was very pleasant, except for the smoke detector going off a few times for no reason.

Non Smoking Room had the smell of stale smoke, no Hot Water in the Shower but plenty in th esink I have stayed at this hotel before and it was a great experience, this time the Non Smoking Room had an oder of stale Cigeratte Smoke. The Shower did not have Hot WAter but the Sink did. The room was clean and everything else about this hotel was great.

Good location. Air conditioner did not work well. If the air conditioner work better I would have given a better review.

Imagine your whole house, just smaller. NA. Everything I have in my house was there. I just needed my clothes, could have just went out for groceries & start cooking if I wanted to. The internet, coffee, tea inside, ironing board & fully equipped kitchen, were great. It was all clean, neat both inside room & hallway. Nice.

The staff was amazing! They went out of there way to help us! Nothing really! We loved it! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious! The kitchen was great to have considering we had 2 small children with us. The pool was nice and the staff was unbelievable! They were the nicest people I have ever met! Seriously! The breakfast was good. Name brand food and perfect for on the go. It was very quiet and we just loved it!

Had kitchenette, and close to interstate. Did not offer continental breakfast. Comfortable room with kitchen facilities in the room. Close to I10 and I12 interchange. Friendly and helpful staff.

I enjoy the location it's quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. The hotel room was nice and clean and I was pleased until I discovered that my top sheets were not cleaned and I was very disappointed. When someone wants to relax and you discovered the covers have stains that are noticeable. That's the only problem I have other than that the rooms are nice.

The hotel was very convenient to restaurants, interstate, and the mall. The Marriot chain has and will continue to be one of my top hotels. I cant imagine staying anywhere else. They fit all of my needs.

It was clean and safe. They did not have pillows or blankets to spare. Our experience was marginal. If you absolutely must have a kitchen for your stay, it's probably an ok deal, however watch out for hard, springy beds and pillows that offer no support. If you need to be close to any of the Baton Rouge hospitals, you'll appreciate the convenience; for anybody else, you may want to shop around a bit--there are better Baton Rouge hotels for the money.
