After my business trip, it was great to up north and experience the ambience of a small New England town. The TowneSuites were perfectly located near major highways and was able to go to Newburyport as well as return to downtown Boston for shopping and take in the sites. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet place in the greater Boston Area.

The kitchenette facilities were supberb. All was excellent. This hotel was super easy to find and was everything we expected. The bed was made so beautifully and the entire stay was great.

We spent a week in Danvers, using this hotel as home base for day trips in the area. I loved the studio we had. Everything was clean and comfortable. Security was great - a passcard was required to admit you to the interior of the hotel where sleeping rooms are. The office staff was very helpful and the fresh cookies in the afternoon were much appreciated. We didn't use the fitness facility but did peek in and it looked good. The surrounding area has several options for food and shopping, though most of it is not within walking distance. We asked to be on the top floor and our room was very quiet. Most of the time I didn't even know if we had neighbors in adjacent rooms. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the Danvers area.

The hotel was in a nice neighborhood and close to many attractions. The room itself was very spacious and perfect for long or short stays.

Convenience of the kitchen and early continental breakfast. We were told we'd have a smoking room. Didn't have any. Cleaning staff also went through our personal belongings, which is horrendous, and actually helped themselves to two packs of my husband's cigarettes. The management assured us that none of his staff smokes and the brand my husband smokes is not a widely known brand. As we were leaving we went by one of the picnic tables that had a large ashtray full of butts, his brand, and an empty cigarette pack on the ground. That is not where he went to smoke.

We just got back from our New England vacation. We decided to stay at the TownePlace Suites for a couple of reasons, mainly it was pretty close to both Salem and Boston, and also because Marriott is our favorite hotel chain. We were extremely pleased with this hotel. We had a two bedroom suite and it was truly our home away from home. It was kind of like having a condo rather than just a plain hotel room. Everything was very clean, safe, comfortable and the staff was very nice. The beds are ridiculously comfortable! A lot of people mention that the location is hard to find. Knowing that, we followed our directions closely and had no trouble finding the place. If you're not from MA the roads take a little getting used to as there are no turns to get to the other side of the street. You either have to do a U turn when possible or take an exit to get to the other side. Keeping that in mind, we did have to do a U turn to get back to the hotel, but it was no big deal. The stay was wonderful and we are completely satisfied, not only with the phenomenal room & service, but also with the price. The price was very affordable, especially for the quality you get. I definitely recommend this location!!

The TownPlace Suites was clean and comfortable. The sofa bed, when pulled out was less then a foot away from the queen bed. The location was good and the staff friendly, there was grab and go breakfast available in the morning which was convenient, so if you don't need any privacy or alot of room, its a decent place to stay.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the quiet atmosphere. Was difficult to find at first. Signing was not easily seen and could only be reached one way. I would have no problem staying at this hotel again. It was centrally located for our needs, clean and quiet. Personnel were very helpful with information.

the hotel was in a great location, very peaceful, the suite was spacious, the kitchen was great. we just loved our room.we were located closed to the neighoring states, maine and new hampshire. just excellent

Nice room, clean and large. Very hard to locate when driving a car to it. The location of this nice hotel makes it very hard to find. It is behind an old shopping center. Call first and receive detailed driving instructions. The rooms are nice and clean and large. Staff seemed friendly and helpful.

Towne Place Suites-Boston Danvers North Shore was a pleasant experience for us. This motel was conviently located to resturants, shopping and historical sites of interest. After a day of site seeing and visiting family we came back to a very quiet large room with a dining/writing table, sofa and lounge chair, the room had plenty of lighting and a computer hook up. The small kitchen was separated from the bed and sitting area by a bar which added space to the room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook any meal. When we were not in the mood to cook, the hotel had several choices of resturants that had quick delivery. Towne Place was only a short distance from Logan Airport and directly off the main routes into Boston. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions even when we phoned the front desk from one of our site-seeing trips.

I appreciated the suite-style roominess, and the facility is still in new-like condition. It was very hard to find by car, and I had to have the front desk talk me in by phone. Once I found it, I really liked this property. It is very much like a Residence Inn, with slightly fewer services for less money. Very comfortable, and if you have to be somewhere for an extended period, it is nice in that you can prepare your own food in your own kitchen.
