Our stay at Tower House HotelExperience was good. Room and bathroom were very clean and nice which is very important. Room is ok in size and very central which is very convenient to go walking everywhere. The best thing, windows of rooms are in very quiet street with no cars and this let's you sleep with total silence all night. Price we expected about 70 and we payed 80 pounds but it was ok.

Blue roomVery pleasant stay. We picked it as it was 4 mins walk from the New Oxford Theatre where we saw Derren Brown (also extremely good). All the rooms have different names and we stayed in the BLUE ROOM. We had a shared bathroom but was very modern, clean and not a problem sharing. The room was small but perferctly adequate for 1 night with a freeview TV, tea and coffee facilities and washbason.Breakfast was continetal and very nice, apart from classic FM on the radio but thats just our taste in music.Only down fall we thought was £80 for 1 night but think most of that is the location as you are in the heart of the city. Staff were great and let us leave our bags there after we checked out as we weren't leaving until later on.Very nice and would reccomend and stay there again.

Excellent locationSmall hotel in what appears to be historic building off High Street right in midst of universities. In view of building, narrow stairway up to rooms. Double room very small with low ceiling, more suited for one person. Shared (very clean) bathroom. Having said this, Ronel was very welcoming, and the rooms have nicely decorated curtains and matching counterpanes. Gilchrist & Soames bath products, and ample teas/coffee/biscuits with electric kettle. Breakfast is described as continental but more provided: cereal, rolls/croissants, ham, cheese, coffee presse. For Oxford, very good value especially due to location. If I were travelling with my husband, would request one of the larger rooms with ensuite bath. Would definitely stay here again.

good locationThis tiny hotel is well located in a quiet street at the heart of Oxford. The room was very small but comfortable (barely any space to place the suitcase). The shared bathroom was also tiny but clean. Nice little hotel overall.

reviewGreat place, very friendly owner, location perfect. Only negatives were bed sloped quite a bit and would have been nice to have some eggs in addition to other breakfast options. Overall though, very pleased and would recommend.

Fabulous and cuteA really cute little hotel with low ceilings and steep stairs, right in the centre of town. Well kept, friendly service, lovely bed and good soundproofing.

Quaint and quirky, more B&B than "hotel"Very disappointed to see that the rate I paid on LateRooms was less than the published rack rate when I checked out. What sort of a "bargain" is that?! Small, clean room, all facilities - like a guest bedroom in someone's house. You might like this or you might not. Very handy central location, but does not feel like good value at this price. Breakfast absolutely the minimum you could get away with - I didn't mind, but others might.

Pleasant accomodations in the center of OxfordOustanding service! I only stayed for the evening and needed to be up early to catch a bus, despite being up before the usual breakfast time, the employee on staff that weekend got breakfast ready for me! This was at 5:30 AM, which was absolutely astounding. The rooms are very nice, and have an excellent character. This was a very interesting and pleasant place to rest for a night.

Hotel in lovely location. Our room (which was an upgrade as ours wasn,t ready) had a lovely view of London Bridge and the Thames. The room however was tiny . Absolutely nowhere to put your suitcase. Bathroom was slightly larger than the room. If this was an upgrade i,d hate to see the one we were supposed to have.

Standard double room (very small) with shared bathrooom perfectly adequate for one night. Bed very comfortable. For a longer stay would probably be better having a double room with ensuite;these rooms were much larger.Pleasant welcome.

The quality of the room is well appreciated because it was a cosy one and we were lucky enough to get an \"en suite\". The owner plays on the \"Character\" of the rooms, they are nice, but that is all. By the way, on seven rooms, three of them share a bathroom.To be honnest

very good service and lovely people but the bed was broken and the bathroom had to be shared with 2 other rooms, which at the end makes the 75£ quite expensive for the quality of the service.

Old building with plenty of character, but modern TV and shower. Convenient central Oxford location. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The Tower Hotel is perfectly situated to get all around central Oxford on foot. Everything we wanted to do or needed to get was close by. the hotel was charming and the shared bath was lovely and spotless. We felt very well taken care of whilst there for three days.

Welcoming , clean and friendly. Second time of staying. Would go again. Only problem I noticed was that the breakfast room was too small to accommodate all of its guests at once which did seem to be a problem for one couple who had to go back to their room to wait. Is exceptionally handy for city centre however.

The location was great and the receptionist friendly. However, I had to share a bathroom with only a bath although it never said that when I booked and also the breakfast was very poor, stale food!

The biggest draw back was no internet and phone. It was hard to do business. I also was not thrilled about the shared bathroom with no shower.

The room was very good, only reason I rated 5 rather than 6 was that I didn't have a tea/coffee tray which is standard most places - but there would not have been much room to place one! But plenty of room to walk round the bed etc., didn't feel cramped in any way. NB I had the \"shared bathroom\" room so en suite might have been different.
