Overall the hotel was good - modern, clean, quiet, efficient. What needs to be made clearer is that it is 15mins on the tram outside of the old city - easy enough to get to, but I think some people would feel a little uneasy if unaccustomed to travelling or it they're not confident travellers. In the directions that Late Rooms send about gettign to the hotel there is some vital information missing - once you get the 22 bus from the airport in to town and get off, you need to find the no.7 tram that is heading in the direction of 'Dole' as otherwise it is easy to get on the wrong one and very few people speak enough English or know where the hotel or street name is to help you with directions.

Near hotel is great russian restaurant and very good bowling hall. Hotel does not change euros into latis, so, changing in advance is vise. Reseption speaks english only so and so. Still i recommend this hotel to all.

It is a common thing that the hotel facilities are there for guessts convenience. I never expected I'll be charged for using the hotel Spa! Not ever! Besides - the taxi from the hotel back to the airport was a rip of. 9Lts on the way to, 23(!) on the way back, even if the hotel staff said it will be 15! English speaking staff should really speak it. Some did, some just didn't. Very good breakfast. Clean but very small rooms.

Spacious room for 3 persons, a bit outside the Centre of Riga. 10 minutes with taxi. The Toss Bowling alley was a success for my teenager-kids - and my self as well. Nice breakfast. Good service. The surroundings were not that interesting.. Recommendable.

First time stay. Double room (twin beds). Property is located at a considerable distance from central Riga, requires a 30 minute tram ride (inexpensive) to get into the city center. Tram stop is conveniently located, however, as is a very nice LIDO restaurant next door serving traditional Russian home-style cooking. Continental breakfast buffet in the attached bowling alley complex next door. Communication with the Riga airport is poor, only taxi is available and the recommended service booked at the hotel on departure is 50% more expensive ($26 total) than the cab hailed at the airport on arrival. Room is small for the price!
