the hotel isn't that close to the city. You have to take one of two buses to get to Vatican city, which is somewhat far from the main attractions. I had spent 6 wells studying abroad in Rome so I knew my way around the city and this hotel was just not convienent for sight seeing and such. The staff wasn't very helpful when we asked about the bus system. If you're there for fun try a different hotel closer to the pantheon because that is more center of all the sights in Rome. The lobby of the hotel is nice though and I could invision confrences being held there. If groups are stating there it would be best to have a group bus to take you around. Breakfast there is not included it cost 10. The room was small but maintained nicely. I felt comfortable and safe. But once again, its hard to experience the city, the piazzas, museums, and sights. Because it is far a way.

The reception staff were excellent and the restaurant staff were generally good, but one male waiter seemed to be less than interested in the customers and their welfare.

Hotel was better than we expected after reading some reveiws.the rooms compact but clean, evening meal not very good.Breakfast was ok,Staff helpful and printout of maps and directions to the Vatican etc available. The bus stops right outside the hotel and the metro is a 10-15 min walk away, Would recommend getting your tickets from the hotel bar (which closes at 11pm) for the bus and metro. The hotel is nearer to the Vatican City but a train ride to the town centre. metro stops at 9pm and buses stop at 11pm, 15 euro's for cab back 2 hotel.

The information provided re location was very misleading, to say the least. It took between 45 minutes and one hour by bus and subway to reach any of the important sights in Rome. The room was too small to even lay out a suitcase. We had a hole in our bed sheets.

My wife and I did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff was not friendly. The room was small. There were mosquitoes and the staff did not try to keep the doors to the lobby shut at night. There is no swimming pool. The rooms are in separate buildings. The TV was very small and very soft. The room floor covering was tile. I requested a wake-up call and never received it. Admittedly, this hotel was the least expensive on the list of hotels.

I do not recomend this hotel to anyobody. Firstly, the pictures on the website are just from the reception and conference rooms, while the actual rooms are in another buildings (4). It is more like an faculty dorm, not a hotel. The rooms are simple and not very clean. There is no security when entering the hotel building, in fact there is nobody there. The hotel is far from the city center (you need ~ 40 minutes, 2 buses to get in Rome center).

The lobby looks great. The coffee bar was good and restaurant was okay. A lot of bus travelers here. The rooms are very small, but clean. No elevators and I was on the 4th floor. No air conditioning, but a fan. It did have a re fridge The upscale hotel near the area was 450.00 US compared to my 150.00. They did not have a fridge. The tour bus did pick me up and drop me off at my hotel along with the other more upscale pricier hotels. Not romantic at all. Reminds me of a 1950's US hotel.

I´d like to reserve 3 rooms: 1 double, 1 triple and 1 for 4 people. The employees took there were only triple rooms. When we stayed at rooms, we saw once was for 4 peolpe. For us was very good, but the employees were without this information.

The bedroom was exceptionally small and lacked facilities for putting clothing away, therefore we had to virtually live out of our suitcases all week as the only things we could hang up were coats, shirts, dresses etc. There was no room to store t-shirts, socks, underwear and shoes.

Very nice hotel. The hotel is classic 70s style and my wife and I really enjoyed it. It is a short 1 EUR bus ride to the vatican. 10-12 EUR taxi ride. We enjoyed the quiet at night, versus being right in the middle of everything and not being able to open your windows at night due to street noise. The public areas were a great place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee or beer at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Over all stay (myself & my mother),quite good. Hotel lovely, people friendly, & the hotel surroundings very nice. BUT, we ate in the hotel the first night - not much choice, and although there was only 4 other people in the restaurant, we had to wait a very long time for the food! Our first night in the hotel, we had a cockroach in our room! Yes, a cockroach. A big one. Someone did come up within a few minutes to sort it. Mum had already squished it, but they fetched it & offered us another room which we didn't do. The next morning I asked that the maid mop the floor for us. This was not done as I left a mark on the floor & it was still there when we got back! Breakfast was great. The morning of our flight, we had asked for a wake up call, we only got a call to say our taxi was here. We were not awake. They said there was a problem with the phones!!! Rome itself is brilliant. Just don't stay at this hotel.

Excellent Location close to the GRA, short bus ride to the METRO for touring Rome. Beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was good. The hotel is a cluster of 3 story walkup buildings with no lift.If you have problems with stairs or hauling luggage then request a lower level room. Beds were a little soft, mainly because of North American Size matteresses were placed on smaller european style frames. Great over all value
