Great location (4 blocks from the party section of the Gap and across the street from Dover beach.). Basic room. Poor plumbing. Experienced a leak from the ceiling into my closet damaging items on shelves. It took 3 days to get items back from laundry (Hotel keep telling me that the problem was fixed but it never was). Maybe this was just one room maybe it wasn't. Those on an extreame budget could consider this 1-2 star hotel. Just know that you get the bare bones accomodations. Also keep in mind that they are building a need 4 story codo across the street so there is a lot of construction noise during the day (M-F)

I stayed @ time out apirl 1 to 7. The rooms a very small, thay have a nasty old mildew smell. The staff in the hotel are not nice. The apliance in the room are very old and dont work. The contental breakfast not good just bread and old juice. Hotel view no good cant see nothing but the pool. The hotel lobby you see bird droping on the table and the chairs you sit in.i will never stay or reckamend anyone to stay there.

A friend and I visited Barbabdos for a few days, I booked this hotel because it was cheaper than others but still 152 per night, The location is just down the street from the "nigthlife" and directly across the street from Dover Beach which was nice, it did save on cab fare. Don't book this hotel unless you don't plan to spend anytime here. The first day they had to unclog the tub because it wouldn't drain, and you have to keep the sink faucet running to get "hot" water to the third floor faster. They will only change towels every two days. The bartender at the empty bar barely wants to get up to get you drink. After all this you can imagine we didn't choose to eat breakfast here. A renovation is going on directly across the street, so right now all you can see is five story wall of concrete, that is being worked on very early in the morning. Good Things...location and, we were able to book an activity from the desk, but make sure you know what you want because their book of activties is filthy and very limited. Not a Good Choice!!

the hotel was nice we had a great room, with a view of the soccer field and beach, this is not a 5 star hotel but it is very nice for what you pay, the staff were accomodating and the rooms were clean, the food was ok, we only ate breakfast there, the beach was very nice and only a quick walk across the street, we will definitely be back and will stay here again.

Just got back from a lovely time in Barbados. The hotel is definitely no frills. The king beds are two twins pushed together. The fridge is cool, not cold. That said, we had a great time. The people at the hotel were very warm, friendly and helpful. We had a view of the beach instead of the balcony we expected, which was great. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and it was really terrific, and very reasonable. The beach was never crowded, and is a two minute walk across the street. I think Barbados is what you make of it. Some people seem to want to find things to complain about. This is not a luxury hotel, but it has everything you need and more!

The hotel staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. Did not stay in hotel for more than 15 minutes I thought we were dropped off at the wrong place from the surrounding area and the room apperance. Need to be clean, fresh linen, walls painted, bathroom free of mildew and clean. The room had a musty odor. The best thing were the people. The staff was excellent. We found out some to the family members who were going to stay there changed their mindsl. Hotel where the wedding party was to be and the hotel was much better.

stayed here in sep 08 for 7 days. this was my 3rd trip to this hotel, 9th trip to Barbados. The hotel is clean and definitely no frills, but the staff make up for a lot. Ate breakfast here every morning, was good for the area. The bar is usually crowded during the 2 happy hours, but the staff is very helpful The room was sufficient, the water hot and the a/c cold, which I enjoyed. I spent many weeks at the Divi down the street, and this place beats them hands down. All the visitors here have been very friendly and share info about trips they take and recommendations are plenty. Really enjoy staying here and will do again.
