The room was small, but suitable. It suited all my needs perfectly. And I loved the soft, soft bed. I would definitely consider staying here again. One weak area though. The internet in the room was terrible. Not worth getting. Everyone was very friendly with me, however, and I felt very safe as a single woman staying there alone.

Not worth the money. I would expect the same from a two star hotel. The first two rooms they put us in stank horribly. They had no more rooms available in the size we booked, so rather than upgrade us, they put us in a smaller room (at the same price as the larger room we had pre-paid for). The windows were very drafty, and the heat did not work in the dead of winter. The hotel did not have a portable heater. It was miserably cold. Room service did not bring our Christmas breakfast. Reception refused to talk to room service about the problem. The paid internet was supposed to be broadband, but the speed registered at 1.6 kilobytes (about 1000th the speed it should have been) and was basically non-functional. The hotel did not fix the problem during our three days there.

Very good location. Clean but quite small rooms. Limited facilities, even no lobby area when parties held. Above all, a good value according to NY hotel prices.

The hotel was pretty nice and the location excellent, but I reserved a suite (we were 3 people) and when we arrived we discovered that they had already given our room, so they offered us to go to another hotel just for that night or staying in a doble room.

The Time Hotel is a lovely hotel literally just off Boradway. We found the room size larger than expected considering what we had read in other people's comments. The staff could not have been more firendlier or accommodating and we really noticed the difference between the Customer Service industry in the UK and the US.

Very good location. Staff is really polite. Rooms are small but very enough and clean. The view from the window is not the best one but it can be compensated by location. Tube station is 10 stept only.

Overall it was a good room for the price and location. Only negative was that we didn't get into our room until 4:20pm and check-in is at 3pm. The room wasn't ready and the employees kept saying 15 more minutes for an hour. This is unacceptable- they didn't offer us anything as a consolation either. Other than that, we had a fine time there.

Room was too small for more than 1 person; The hotel was too small overall; my bed spread had a hole in it; The bathroom floor was not cleaned well daily. Staff was nice and friendly.

We had to change rooms two times because of not functioning toilets and heating system, but we were offered a better room each time. What was really stressing was that leaving Germany (not Norway) the security check asked for a code-number for the hotel, and this number was not in the mails we had got. We sent an SMS to The Time, and we called, but received only an answering machine. We asked to be contacted at once, as they would not let us on the plane without this number. The hotel never contacted us, and we did have some unnecessary arguing and stress, before the problem was solved. This is bad service; The Time must have known that this was important. In Scandinavia the price you read at the internet is what you pay, please inform more clearly about all the different taxes that is added to your bill in USA.

The hotel decor, the rooms, the staff, and location all excellent. Exceptionally well-situated for those seeking same day ticket booths for Broadway shows. The lounge is a lovely place for a drink after a long day of touring. Remember, this is a small, modernist boutique hotel; not the Four Seasons New York. Not for suburbanites.

I thought I had read that overnight parking cost $21, but when I went to pick up my car, the actual cost was $54, even with my parking ticket validated. I believe the $21 price was listed in my venere.com reservation confirmation. The shower was great (walk-in shower), but water pressure was quite low. Finding this hotel with the room rate I got allowed me to spend my birthday in New York with my youngest daughter. It was quite special, and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch the Macy's Parade in person - a once in a lifetime experience for us!
