Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, rooms are excellent. Bar is great and the breakfast and service is great. Will be staying there again.

Recommend the hotel highly subject to two caveats. One parking is a real problem so probably better for those without a car. Second the hotel is part of a vibrant bar / club so probably not suitable for those looking for peace and quiet and an early night. For everyone else the hotel is great fun.

This hotel is of a very high quality with great personal touches. The IPOD in each room is great. I also had the best steak i have had in 5 years on room service for under 10 !! stunning. The bar is open til 1am and is very popular but i couldn't hear it from my room. The nightclub in the basement could be heard sometimes but it didn't affect my sleep at all. A great base for an edinburgh trip with bags of cool and charm without breaking the bank.

This is the second time we have stayed at Tigerlily, and again we had a great stay! The rooms are fantastic, the food is good, and the bar is very lively at night. The reception staff really look after you and we were upgraded this time.

High quality furbishment and lovely decor. Excellent sheets and very comfy bed. Ask for a room not above the very popular bar. Mine was quiet but a colleague's wasn't. Overall a great place to stay.

This hotel is everything it says and more! Its probably the best hotel I have stayed in. The room was amazing with a hd tv, i-pod and dvd player. the gf was particularly impressed that they had ghd straightness in the rooms! I also particularly liked the idea that breakfast in bed was the done thing. Nothing better!

In the restaurant the food itself was of good quality, but because you're right next to the bar area it is quite noisy (we were there at 7:30pm on a Friday). We have also eaten breakfast in the restaurant and thought that was much more enjoyable. I think the restaurant is great for breakfast, probably lunch too and if you were in a group in the evening, but for a couple for an evening meal it wasn't ideal.

Wonderful place, great staff, very busy on a Saturday night with non residents. Even has a comfortable smoking room/space. Was also nice to see an old friend from 10 years ago working there.

The room was brilliant. Just a standard double, but we were really happy with it. Such attention to detail in everything. Particularly loved the ipods, plasma tv, hair straighteners, the mirrors, the huge spotless bathroom with brilliant shower and the dinner was also fab. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the place was very clean and brilliantly decorated and designed. Will definitely be back!
