Very convenient location. No complaints. I was leery about selecting this hotel because past customers' reviews were mixed, but it was a good price and the next closest in price had terrible reviews. I wanted to be south of Nashville and close to Interstate. I called to ask questions twice and the desk clerk was very nice. I was thrilled with the selection.

My wife and I wanted a low cost motel room and we got it. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was labeled a "none smoking" room yet the smoke residue was clearly in the bedding and therefore seemed everywhere and unfortunately remained in our clothes after we returned home. The location is in a high traffic area and we found the noise level very high and some patrons loud and inconsiderate after 11 pm. The location is very close to the airport which was good for us. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast was very adequate and served in a very clean environment. Our room was noticeably clean and the beds and pillows comfortable. The A/C was inadequate for us. We like the room cold at night and the fan on high to offset outside noise. Neither could be achieved and this was still March. For us there wasn't enough outlets for all the electronic gadgetry we bring such as the laptop computer, cell phone and camera chargers, etc so we had to rearrange and temporarily unplug some of the motel electronics. Overall, we paid a very reasonable rate and received a good value for the low price. Although we may come back, it will not be our first choice due to the poor A/C, noise, high traffic and smoke residue.

My family and I were very impressed with this motel. It was very clean and comfy. The breakfast is your basic continental breakfast. The check in was speedy. The location was great! There are a bunch of places to eat within walking distance, Applebee's, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, A Chinese buffet across the street that is really good for a reasonable price. There is a fence around the property, and you have to have your key to get in and out. Makes one feel very safe. Nice neighborhood. Only one thing, if you are a very light sleeper, you are really close to the airport, lots of noise with the planes leaving and taking off, but my children loved watching them!!!! I would definitely stay here with my family again.

Will probably never stay again, toliet didn't work good, and the air did not work at all, had to open door to cool off - could tell someone had smoked in the room, I've stayed there many of times, this was a real bad room, bottom mattress had what looked like blood stains. Wish I hadn't had this experence, lady at desk is very nice and always has been

This hotel is in a sort of rough neighborhood, with a gated parking lot, so we were a little apprehensive, but needlessly. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and showers - nothing fancy, but not ugly either. One sink was clogged, which wasn't a problem for us because we had two rooms and were staying only a short time. The breakfast was a normal continental breakfast. Good fast wireless Internet, and we had a great sleep (it was quiet)!

Do NOT stay here! We asked for a non-smoking room and we got a non-smoking room. The only problem is that the last tenant smoked and the room reeked of it. Did the hotel staff help to fix the problem after we checked in? NO... In fact, they told us that because we booked through Travel website, they wouldn't even allow us to leave and find somewhere else to stay without charging us for our stay since we already checked in. They gave us some bogus story that ALL their room were taken. It seemed rather interesting that they just HAPPENED to have NO rooms that they could move us to. They told us that any changes to the reservation had to go through Travelocity. So, at 1:00 am we called Travel agent and guess what? They couldn't help either! This will be the LAST time we use either Travel website or any of the Drury Hotel chain. Trust me, you do NOT want to stay here!

The room was large and the bathroom and vanity area were separate. There was an ironing board and iron in the room. We stayed 3 nights and ate breakfast there 3 times. The continental breakfast included real orange juice, cereals, bread for toasting, bagels,and donuts. We were visiting our son and this was the closest motel to their home.

X and her manager at Thrifty Inn were great! We stayed a couple of nights in Feb. 2009 and couldn't have asked for anything better -- clean comfortable rooms; good breakfast; helpful staff and the price was fantastic. We stayed there last fall on a trip to Florida and I was thrilled to see it come up on the list when we were booking a short vacation to NashVegas. Also, we went to The Doyle and Debbie Show at The Station Inn on Tuesday night and it's a hilarious send-up of country music wannabees. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again and plan to do so in July with friends.

The hotel is close to the city. It is very secure.They have a continental breakfast. The neighborhood is very busy and thus sometimes noisy.

The front desk was very nice, made me feel welcome. The room was clean and everything worked. It was a great price for a nice stay away from home. Good location, felt safe. Go to Nashville alot, will probably make this my main stay. Toccoa, GA

I have stayed at many low cost hotels. None gave me such an awkward feeling as this one. The room I was given was supposed to be a non-smoking room. But when I opened the door I got the distinct odor of cigarettes. But not just a little odor, the room was reeking of it. I thought it wouldn't be a problem, I have been in smoking spaces before. But I couldn't find a place anywhere in the room that didn't reek. I checked in at 2am, otherwise I would have requested another room. Even the bed cover had a cigarette burn in it when I pulled it back. I couldn't sleep well but I was too tired to change rooms. Perhaps if I had gotten a better room it would not have been so bad. But when I told the staff in the morning that the room smelled badly of cigarettes she didn't even seem surprised. She said, "Yep, it happens."

when we got to our 3rd floor room , it smelled musty, it was very old decor, and there were cockroaches, big ones. the staff was very friendly , but stated they had never had a problem with it before, i highy doubt that this was there first cockroach especially being on the 3rd floor...will never stay there again.

The hotel was a discount hotel and we got the room for a night, so it was what we paid for. The room was adequate, although the bathroom area was not the cleanliest and the bed sheets would stay completely on the bed. Other than that it was very conveniently located to the airport and to downtown Nashville. No long commutes either way and they did have a continental breakfast included each morning. Our other family members paid over a night to be downtown and did not get any breakfast so we had the better deal.

The hotel is OK for the price, you cannot complain. Room was OK but TV was not working properly. Breakfast was just OK but staff was very friendly and helpful.

I chose this hotel by viewing everyones comments, or reviews. It was a great hotel for the money. I honestly do not have any complaints, except that sometimes its loud due to an airport that is close by, and also the express way. Other then than, it was a nice time. The Hotels were clean, and the staff was nice.
