Great experience. The rooftop pool was fabulous but not enough chairs. Get there early before the pool boy starts reserving chairs and cabana people start demanding chairs. Beautiful people, great staff, very LA.

Staff seemed friendly, although somewhat phony. Only valet parking at $30/night! It's a Morgans hotel wannabe, but doesn't quite carry it off. Rooms are pretty small and a little worn now.

Room service was cold. My pot of coffee was $25. The air conditioning was broken. The room next to me had a party until 4 am. Super overpriced and by far the WORST hotel experience I've ever had. Would NEVER recommend this hotel.

It would have been nice to have been informed that the building was under construction. Because of this, none of the amenities were available and I feel a little bit cheated. The room was very nice and the location is awesome. The service, however, needs some improvement. We had rented a movie only to find that the dvd player did not work and the front desk person did not even try to help us. That was very disappointing. On top of all that, It costs an additional */night to your car here.

Great location to Rodeo Drive. Was not real pleased with the decor in the rooms and the hallways. We were able to get passed that after the first day. We loved the pool and bar but was very dissappointed that the hotel often has local 20 somethings from the area host their own private parties there. If we were in any other state it probably wouldn't of bothered me soo much, but...it became very crowded and became more of a atmosphere for who's who rather than trying to cater to hotel guests. I think these 20 somethings bring this hotel a lot of money and they are more inclined to impress and cater to these individuals rather than their own guests. I wouldn't recommend you go over any holidays unless you are a young beautiful single with a "good" address looking to have a good time partying with the Beverly Hills/LA singles. I would imagine that this would be a nice place to stay during the weekdays. I imagine it is one of the least expensive hotels in the area. But keep in mind it is a small hotel with out a lot of the thrills and atmosphere that the other hotels have. The staff is nice but there really isn't much of a conceirge service at this hotel. If you have a question you are better off calling the front desk.

A genuine effort was made to make the rooms both stylish and comfortable. Several of the lights in my room did not work. It's a terrific location if you want to be in Beverly Hills. Lots of convenience. Very friendly staff. Great little lobby bar.

The Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills offers a very glamorous experience. From the minute you walk into the contemporary botique hotel, you are draped in classy comfort. The staff was very accommodating and the room was clean and stylish.

Friendly staff. Thin walls! Hotel is all image no substance. From the beginning the hotel seemed like a facade. At first glance things looked luxe, but don't expect the service, quality, or luxury of a four star hotel. Mini bar snacks were stale. There were no bathroom amenities. The walls were paper thin. My non-smoking room smelled liked smoke. The noise of the elevator and my neighbors was horrible. I was moved to another room at 1:00 am and that one was next to a machine room or something. I couldn't sleep at all. Not a relaxing vacation.

The hotel only has 2 very old elevators which take long for them to get you to your floor etc.. The restuarant is not very good. I have eaten there twice, it is overated for the price you pay. The decor is black in the hall ways, the truth is I couldnt wait to leave after two days checked in. The lounge on the roof is great!!! 95% of the staff were very friendly. Beware of $30 a day for parking.

I did not care for its decor ~ It felt like you were in the house of mirrors all in black. Location is okay, but on a main street, which is loud and hard to get in and out of. Parking is $30 a day, a bit high. Although newly remodeled, the decor is a bit freaky, as it makes you feel like you are in the house of mirrors at a Carnival!

The staff was very friendly and attentive to your every need. The clientel was generally on the young and hip side which is fine by me. The only issue we had was when my wife went to take a bath there was hair in the drain. My wife not being a complainer just scooped up the hair and put it on the side of the tub so the staff would be sure to notice it the next day. When we returned from shopping the next day and the room was cleaned we looked at the tub and the hair was still on the side of the tub.

Chic, glamorous, conveniently located and nice team members. Nothing I didn't like. I bid for the Thompson room and upgraded for an extra $50 for a suite which was gorgeous and had its own sitting room with a couch, bathroom and flat screen TV. I was concerned about the noise after reading other reviews but we hardly heard a peep from other guests and we were situated near where there would be high traffic. The pool area is divine with great views, deck chairs and cabanas where you could sit back and relax and order drinks. The roof top bar was also very nice. The team was very friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this chic hotel.

Location. Too modern and rooms too small. It was too modern for my taste and the room is very small. The location is great.

The roof top pool. The service of staff and the bed. This hotel was overpriced and underperformed. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. The elevators where horrible.

Location was close to Rodeo Drive. No ice machines. I had to call room service to bring me ice, which meant more tipping! Overall nice hotel. However, wasn't such a goodwhen you factor in the cost of parking your car - $30.00 plus tipping every time they bring it out for you. Plus, you had to call room service every time you wanted ice. It was 99 degrees in LA so I needed a lot of ice. I didn't like having to tip every time room service brought me ice. Nice large bathroom and nice flat screen TV.

Fantastic staff, beautiful location, clean rooms. Abit noisy. Beautiful hotel in Beverly Hills. The staff is exceptionally helpful and the surrounding neighborhood is good for jogging, strolling, shopping and dining. It felt like I was staying at a wealthy friend's house - the room was comfortable, hairy, and lacked that trademark chemical hotel smell that comes from industrial cleaners and cheap carpets. My teenage daughter fell in love with the place.

The pool was on the roof & has a fabulous view & is a great setting. Everything else. Terrific location, staff uneven, snarky to helpful. Rooms dark, not inviting.

Friendly, clean. Extra charge on changing bed, & parking.
