The White Lion Hostel London

A visionary and completely unique new hostel run by Music 4 Children, a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable children worldwide. Conveniently located in a large Victorian building on the well connected Streatham High Street, the complex includes accommodation for 70 people, a fantastic bar with live music most evenings and an enclosed beer garden. In the hostel section you will find clean, bright and airy rooms sleeping between 2 and 8 people, including rooms with double beds for couples who desire privacy. Facilities are first class with an abundance of clean toilets, bath and shower rooms, and all guests have unlimited access to our 3 fully equipped kitchens. Music is at the heart of this venue and if you love it as much as we do, you will have no shortage of like-minded souls to hang out with here. The cellar hosts rehearsal rooms for bands and the hostel is run by highly experienced live music promoters, so you can expect to enjoy a wide range of first class live acts almost every evening. If you are a musician or performer visiting London, you have found the right place. If we like your act we may even book you to perform in our bar.Currently in development are 3 roof terrace eco-gardens with amazing views of London which our guests will have full access to when completed. The project is supported by a number of experts and charities and will be something truly special when unveiled later this year.Being run by a charity focused on children, the hostel is naturally a very friendly environment for your children too. We have a dedicated and safe playpen area and we will host a range of fun and educational workshops for children in a separate building at the back of the venue.

The White Lion Hostel is ideally located on Streatham High Road within a 5 minute walk from both Streatham and Streatham Hill stations. Trains run every few minutes to Central London and the journey time to London Victoria is 10 to 15 minutesThere are also a large number of bus routes running directly outside the hostel, including those all important night buses. If you are travelling on a tight budget, there are several buses that go straight into London city centre and the fare will only cost you a pound each way.The approachable and knowledgeable staff at the White Lion Hostel is always happy to help you to have the best time possible in London.
