An interesting hotelThe Westmead looks not much at all from the road but rooms are very comfortable as is the receiption and public areas.Not impressed with the staff.However, it's very much a wedding venue and that seems to 'take over' the hotel and there was lots of noise from guests in nearby rooms until very late (3.30 AM).

We'd recommend this hotel to anyone, great location for the M42 and M40 and south and west Birmingham; it was also easy to find. The foyer was smart and clean as was our room. We'll definitely use The Westmead Hotel again.

Really rather good!When I saw the reviews before I booked, I thought they were made up, but the hotel really does provide good value for money, without sacrificing the quality. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom fittings were good quality; plus the room was clean & warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

All correctStayed here because city centre hotels booked up and discounted rate. All very correct, and no hesitation to recommend. Good choice if want nice hotel with easy access to motorway.

didn't have haddock so gave me cheaper pollock for same price. cooked breakfast was small and akin to little chef. the hotel is lovely so the food needs to be improved.

The Westmead Hotel - a real surpriseThis hotel doesn't look fantastic from the outside but i was pleasantly surprised.The hotel staff were very friendly and although the room decor was a little dated, it was very comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. The bathroom was modern and clean. The only negative about the bedrooms is that there is no mini bar or water available in the room.The best thing by far about this hotel is the food. The restaurant menu offered a great choice and the quality of the food was excellent. The breakfast was delicious.I will definitely stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the Longbridge / Hopwood area.

Old favouriteAlthough hotel and rooms generally are very attractive, we unfortunately stayed on a Saturday night when there was a very noisy disco which disturbed us until well after midnight. This is the first time we have been inconvenienced in this way and we have been here several times.

The person on the reception was very good and speedy. The dinner in the restaurant was very good and my overall stay was very good. It is a good hotel for one or two nights for work purposes, however I would not choose to stay at it personally because it lacks a gym and is not near anything. Its great for work because near the motorway and a million times better than a Travelodge, and cheaper. I think it does functions, and it would probably be good for that sort of thing

Would stay againMy trip was for business so wanted somewhere close, yet quiet with good service. This place ticked all the boxes. It was very clean and the restaurant staff were excellent providing a good chioce and selection of lunches. The room was large and spacious, well laid out and clean. The bathroom was especially clean to a high standard which I expect.The hotel was bright and spacious with a lot of stairs.

A slight irritation with the room keys stop working after 24 hours (had to get both of them reprogrammed 3 times in a 4 night stay) but other than that its very difficult to criticise this hotel. Have stayed in most hotels and B&B's from Rdditch to Kings Norton and this was the best for quality, cleanliness and value for money by far.
