Great location for sightseeing. The Louvre was a short walk as was water taxi transportation to other areas like Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower. the Left Bank. Hotel is beautiful and elegant, very clean, luxurious beds, large rooms. There was a hotel staff strike going on when we checked in, but the staff who were working provided all the amenities we needed. The strike ended our 4th day and all the services were restored. We were given a room upgrade to compensate. We found the food at the hotel a little pricey, but had no trouble finding numerous cafes and restaurants with reasonable prices a few minutes walk away and had great meals.

The terrace in the patio, the proximity with the Louvre Museum. Very disappointing hotel, very far from reaching expectations. Room was way too small. Bed was not a king bed while most of the hotels today, including 3*, have it for their clients. The room service was slow, the decoration of the hotel in the corridor and rooms not very stylish and classy for a hotel of such category, some of the staff was not at all nice and helpful.

My husband had booked the Westin Paris for a holiday for the two of us. The hotel is beautiful and the location can't be beat. We had our room upgraded at check in to a gorgeous view overlooking the city. The staff was friendly and informative, the room was clean, though smallish (not unusual in Europe), and did I mention the location? Closest Metro stop is Concorde. Walking distance to Le Louvre, Champs Elysees, Musee D'Orsay, and many others. Did not eat there as it looked overpriced. We both wished that this hotel had a pool as it would have made our day after walking and sightseeing all day! Would stay again though.

Awesome location. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I would recommend it!

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very stylish. The room was tiny.

For first time visitors to Paris this was like hitting the hotel jackpot! So close to major attractions (Louve, Place Vendome, Opera, metro stops) and was a great place. They had costumed hotel staff on Saturday when we arrived so it was like staying with Napoleon etc, and the concierge staff were extremely helpful with making the most of our 3 days. The hotel was fresh and beautiful with some modifications but they were slight. I am already booking a return trip with girlfriends!!!

There's nothing much to say really. We had a long weekend in the city of lights, and Westin Paris made sure that our stay was what we wanted it to be. The voucher from Orbitz worked off course without any problems. The staff was worldclass, in style with the hotel. One of my best stayes ever. Can't wait to get back actually.

Great Location. Horrible customer service! We were on out honeymoon and the location was perfect, but the hotel staff was rude and not very helpful when we would ask for recommendations.

I stayed here with my wife and two small children. You will definitely need a small suite with more than 1 child as the non-suite rooms are only 200 sf. The hotel faces Rue du Rivoli with excellent views of the Eiffel Tower, but the street is somewhat noisy. After moving to a suite off Rue du Rivoli, we loved the remainder of the stay. The hotel has no small shops or hotel restaurant attached, and we needed to walk several blocks to get small items such as toiletries and milk.

Great location in immediate proximity to cultural highpoints (Tuileries, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Opera) and shopping (amid quarter with high-end stores; Galeries Lafayette app. 10 min. walking distance), as well as public transportation. Hard to find a better location. The rooms were relatively small but comfortable, clean and quiet enough (with slight exception of air-vent in bath).

Room service ok- food good. View-under repairs. Room small, drab, terrible view- metal frame outside window.

My wife and I got engaged in Paris 5 years ago and we returned over Thanksgiving weekend for the anniversary. Five years ago, the Westin Paris was the Intercontinental, and we stayed there then. Some rooms have been refurbished, but much of this beautiful historic hotel remains as it was...and that's a good thing. We were even greeted by the same concierge staff. I called ahead to tell the hotel that we were travelling with an infant and were hoping to get a room early--we were arriving at 8AM. They couldn't promise us anything, but they made a note in our reservation about it. When we arrived, a room was, in fact, waiting for us. I also called ahead to book a car and driver to pick us up from the airport--highly recommended by the concierge, since they were experiencing a transit strike at the time. Everything was there for us, exactly as promised. This is not an inexpensive hotel. The price for room service, especially with the weak American dollar, was outrageous, so we didn't eat there. But the location of the hotel offered many excellent food choices within easy walking distance. We've found that the best hotel experiences come when you do a little research on your own so that you have good questions to ask the staff. For example, if you want help with a restaurant choice, what kind of cuisine? What price? The staff at this hotel is willing to help in any way they can. Calling the hotel or sending an e-mail before you make your trip already familiarizes them with your special needs (and your last name) so that when you arrive, you're less of a stranger than the other people in checking in. A good advantage to have.

It was near louver. Overpriced and small room for deluxe room. Very nice as most Paris hotels are.

The Westin Paris is within walking distance to a lot of Paris tourist spots such as the Louvre, Tuilleries, Place Vendome, Place de la Concorde. The hotel staff are very helpful and speak fluent english. The rooms are small but the beds are comfortable. The next time I go to Paris, I'm staying at this same hotel. I highly recommend it.

Easy access to Louvre, Notre Dame, Hotel Invalides, etc. All within walking distance. Cabs easy to find. Local restaurants were awesome. Minor problems with lack of hot water in shower.

The location for a visitor or tourist could not be better. The atmosphere seemed cool.

This hotel is a great choice for the location. The Concord metro stop is 2 blocks away, and everything is accessible by metro within minutes. You can also stroll over to the Louvre and shops. Staff was very helpful. Fitness center is temporarily housed in a hotel room, so that could be better. There's a refrigerator, but there is not enough space allocated for your own drinks or to chill your wine, and if you move the in-room snacks you automatically get billed. On the last day, we had to review and dispute multiple items that we didn't actually consume. The only other dowside is that there weren't any supermarkets around to pick up general supplies. All in all, I would stay here again.

Fantastic location. Small rooms. Just steps from the louver, easy access to the subway and the opera house. Helpful staff.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were big and comfortable. We were able to walk to the metro and we liked the area because of the access to everything such as attractions and transportation. Definitely would choose this place again.
