Had an accident at the pool and the follow up was minimal at best. I get it. When someone gets hurt on your property you just want them to go away and that is what we did. It could have been muxh worse but the follow up le3ft something to be desired.

The pool had a water slide, a volleyball net, cabanas, etc. Nothing, everything was perfect. We liked this place so much that we extended our stay an extra day. The room (a suite) was spacious, clean, and very well furnished. We especially liked the large balcony and the Jacuzzi bath tub. The common areas are where this place really shines. The pool area had a water slide, volleyball nets, fountains, cabanas, etc. Everything you could want to spend a relaxing day in the Arizona sun. To top it all off, everyone we met on the staff bent over backwards to be friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice with a great bathroom. The full kitchen was top notch and dish detergant and laundry detergant were provided. Very disappointed in the concierge staff who would pawn us off on each other when asked simple questions...seemed "too busy" to provide maps and a list of activities. Seemed more interested in selling to potential "owners". Room was not cleaned and had to ask for room to be cleaned. They cleaned it only one time. Many staff members were very service oriented, including front desk staff, valets and some pool staff. For relaxation purposes, I would recommend staying away from the main resort, espcially on busy weekends. The crowd is much more rowdy at the main resort. Overall, I might return to this hotel just for the price and convenience of the full kitchen. Unfortunately, I would not return due to the lack of service that I expect from a Westin.

This was the absolute best place we have ever stayed. Everything was perfect...rooms, pools, activities, shopping, Resturants, shuttle services, golf, view. We will be looking for more Westin type locations for future travel.

i could write a short story about how much my husband and i enjoyed our week at the westin kierland villas. i seriously do not have one complaint. the resort is absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, and has every ammenity i could ever need or want on vacation. we had a one bedroom villa with limited kitchen overlooking the golf course. the decorating style had a zen-like quality, offering peace and tranquility. there was ample closet and storage space, the bathroom was large and well appointed, the comfortable bed and bed linens were amazing. a walk to the hotel portion of the resort took only five minutes, and we enjoyed trying the hotel's pool one day, just for a change from ours. the lazy river was so relaxing. the two pools at the villas (one adult, one family) were near to one another, but the sound from the family pool was not heard at the adult pool. the adult pool offered a quiet comfort, and the staff provided fresh iced water to the guests on a regular basis. towels and lounges were plentiful. the location of the resort was very convenient, and it was easy to get around by car, or by the shuttle provided by the resort. there is a marvelous shopping center a few minutes away, offering a superb selection of fine restaurants and shops, with regular shuttle service all day and evening. we enjoyed our stay so much, that we are taking several family members with us for a stay at kierland this summer, and i am also planning a "girl" trip with my best friend this fall. i would highly recommend the westin kierland resort to everybody.

This Westin hotel offers tranquility, luxury, and it's a great place to spend time with family. The rooms are spacious, kitchen equiped, and with beautiful views. Children can enjoy a great family pool that has water sports and a water slide. The cabanas were a treat as well ... Fantastic all the way!!

"My husband and I loved the Villas. It was a mini version of our own home. It was beautiful, and well maintained. It has been our best resort experience yet, including the staff. I highly advise staying at the westin. It was delightful."

The bad: The only bad thing about the place was the spotty wifi connection, but there was a traditional plug in connection available. Both were free. The neutral: Rooms aren't automatically serviced everyday, but are upon request at no additional charge. They leave written notification of this, but of course we didn't pay attention. It was very easy to correct. The great: The villas were spacious (read: huge!) and comfortable. The gas fire place was a very romantic and nice touch. The kitchen was fully equipped will full size appliances, and even silverware. The bathroom featured a huge shower with a door (as opposed to curtains which I hate), separate tub, double vanity, and separate toilet with lockable door). The balcony was large and well furnished, and there was a community grill that would be your non-cooking uncle's dream. The place was spotless. Parking was good. During the day it was easy to park right in front of the villa. The worst distance I had to contend with was about 500 ft away (returning really late at night). You also had access to everything in the nearby Westin Hotel & Resort.

"Nice pace, friendly staff, competent....somewhat. Room was not made up until almost 5 pm even after 3 calls complaining.Rate of almost $* dollars per night is not justified."

We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms were great- loved having a kitchen, and the nearby restaurants and shopping were fabulous. Wished we had more time.

I wanted to share with all what a wonderful experience we had at the Kierland. The golf is excellent and thanks again Brooke for correcting our tee times and making sure we had a great time. Your the best! The valet and golf service was the best we have ever experienced all of you are top notch. We had such a great time can't wait to do it again next year.
