loved the hotel, very comfy bed and beautiful bathroom. although the room was nice and the staff overly accommodating, i wasn't able to get a good night's sleep due to room / hallway noises and a TV that did not work properly. electricity went out during my shower and was left in the dark for over a minute.

My family and I visited Philadelphia for the King Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute. The Westin was chosen because it offered a wonderful package for those attending the King Tut exhibition. I had not been to Philadelphia in years, but what a pleasant trip!The hotel was more than I expected and could ask for. The room was beautiful and the hotel was in walking distance of museums and other points of interest. The location is so convenient for whatever you want to do. You are near an abundance of restaurants. There were so many shops and stores to choose from if you decided to do some shopping.It is a wonderful hotel in an absolutely wonderful location.

Very friendly staff, made the stay a real pleasure. The hotel has very comfortable rooms and a modern fitness center. It is located very close to shopping, dining and the historic area of the city.

Excellent central Philadelphia location. Some amenities lacking for a 4 star hotel. Hotel nice, clean, excellent location. Upgraded furnishings. However, a couple of things missing that would have helped. No fan or window in bathroom - surprising . Also, no music available. With all the tech amenities in todays world - the ability to listen to music would have been good.

terrific location and usual westin luxury and excellent service but room had an audible and constant humming noise which was pretty annoying. it's the type of noise sometimes due due to electrical or heating and a/c systems. the manager was really helpful offering other rooms which unfortunately also had the same noise problem. when that didn't work, he went out and bought some earplugs and so we slept great! now that's service! but seriously, if you are at all sensitive to background noise, bring earplugs if staying at the westin philadelphia!

This Westin is very nice. It's in a great location close to good restaurants and the Shops at Liberty Place mall that has great shopping and a huge food court. On our visit the staff could not have been nicer-even accomodating our early check in request. The room was clean and comfortable,especially the"heavenly"bed. We ordered room service (just a large pot of coffee) but it came right on time and was hot and fresh.We travel to Phila. a lot to visit family and this was by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

This Westin was fantastic! Our room was great but above all was the restaurant food!!! We eat all around the world and this food was exceptional. The diver scallop appetizer was the best I have ever had, food is all organic and purchased locally by the exec chef. Beef included. I had fillet mignon one night, tender and cooked to perfection, better than Mortons, RC's and Lewnes rolled into one! We liked it so much, we chose it over Le Bec Fin for dinner with in town guests! Everyone was super polite and yet friendly. Hotel is luxurious. No complaints here. Planning to stay again soon. Close to shopping, other A++ restaurants and sightseeing. You can walk to Redding Market- don't miss this if you are a foodie! The Westin bed is the best in the business. We should know, we bought one for our home, including linens!

The Westin Philadelphia offered pleasant staff, good security, and a nice room. The best part had to be the comfortable bed and bedding, which enabled us to sleep blissfully each of the three nights we stayed. The room temperature, digitally controlled, had to be the best of any hotel we've ever stayed in; changes were automatic, and we never felt stuffy or dry. The location of the hotel was great, too, as the trolley stops nearby and there's loads of shopping/restaurants within a short walk.

The concierge was the best I have ever seen. Parking fees are too high. The concierge was just wonderful. The parking was expensive. The hotel was what you would expect from a Westin, however, it is starting to show signs of age. Bathroom door was dirty. Staff were very friendly.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Check-in was quick and staff were very accomodating, considering that my online reservation was not on file upon my arrival. I was advised by hotel staff that this does occur if you make hotel reservation less than a few hours prior to check-in. Spacious and comfortable lobby and bar area. Room was nicely furnished with comfortable King bed. Cabs were easily accessible outside hotel entrance. I booked this at a great Weekend Winter Rate of $ for the night. Can't beat that for this level of hotel! I plan on returning again soon.

Bed was comfortable. Shower hot and twin shower head strong. Staff at font desk upon check in (3 gentlemen) not accommodating regarding request for higher floor and or street view. Received lowest floor, back view. My impression was that the management and staff (with a few exceptions) were more focused on practicing fast-talking negotiations instead of courteous service to their guests. It is all about attitude although some specific behaviors can be offered such as falsely implying the 4th floor was not the lowest floor when in fact it is, indicating no other rooms were available other than the 4th floor room with an unattractive rear view which was also false, no caffeinated coffee (shipment is late), uneven room service (had to request soaps or shampoos on various days), and the internet service was not included ($13 daily charge). Most disappointing was the front desk gentlemen upon check-in whose fast-talking wheeling and dealing style was very unprofessional. This set an unpleasant tone for my stay. I would not stay here again.
