the bar is too expensive 20 euros for a glass of champagne is the dearest I have paid in europe, but the staff were good and alert

Staff couldn't be more helpful - superior! Hotel clean, rooms nice, a little on the warm side - especially at night, great work out room, excellent location for touring the city. Would have like a pool or services at the spa for manicures. Over all excellent rating!

Location is great. Lack of locals (is a trend in Ireland) at desks.

The break was booked as a treat for a special birthday. I felt thoroughly pampered & really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It is in a fantastic position in the city. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay at the hotel again some time in the future.

We took two rooms last minute ..got a reasonable rate of $ Euro per standard room. No breakfast at this rate.asked for a courtesy breakfast but no way!! Not even a continental but was told I could charge the breakfast 27 EURO to my room!!! Check in was fast and friendly..Received , as requested , an inner room without the traffic noises . Clean and spacious with a large bathroom. Toiletries were adequate ..basics only. Asked for a kettle to make tea , none available..asked for someone to help me figure out why the lights were not working ...nobody came for an hour...eventually figured it out myself! No turn down service ..unusual in a five star hotel. Very friendly staff ..loved the open fires in the public rooms...lovely inner lounge restaurant. Checked out the 27 Euro breakfast buffet but was not particularly impressed with the pre-cooked foods. Great location for everything. Liked the quiet and lack of bustle .even though there was a good bar scene going on downstairs on Saturday night. Would stay again.

We stayed here New Years Eve. It was a great location--right next to Trinity College and Temple Bar. My fiance's family is from Ireland and couldn't believe I had gotten such a great location without knowing Dublin better. The hotel was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to try to find us a place to eat New Years Eve Dinner at--even though we arrived at 6pm that evening.

Fanastic StayThe Westin is outstanding. Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the cocktails in the bar downstairs were super - we'll be back.

This is a quality hotel, very centrally located to all of Dublin's sights and attractions. Also conviently located to the Aircoach stops from the airport. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are fantastic.

Great location, extremely comfortable room andattentive staff. Sheet changing service requires putting a card on the bed. The Dublin Westin is a luxury hotel in the heart of Dublin. Hotel staff is very attentive, rooms are spacious featuring luxury bathrooms, comfortable furniture including a reading chair, and Westin's trademark heavenly bed. The hotel offers a top rated restaurant and lively bar which makes exemplary Mojitos. The health club is very basic with a few weight machines and treadmills.

Your stay will depend on your room positioningI paid about £160 for a room with no outside window (view into enclosed courtyard) therefore no fresh air. The airconditioning was not efficient and the room was therefore very stuffy and too warm. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in but I couldn't sleep because I was too warm. For the price I would have expected at least a bottle of water in the room but there was none. At checkout the foreign receptionist mis-heard me despite the fact I gave name and room number and checked me out as a Mr Simmons. I am female so you would have thought she would check. She then had to credit my card and start again! Should have paid Mr Simmons as it was cheaper than my bill. On arrival, as I was late, around 10.30pm, I had to carry my heavy bag up the stairs on entry which was difficult and for a 5 star hotel, not good. Would not bother to stay again.

Great location, staff very friendly and great new bathroom! No king bed room available at our arrival, no spa. Hotel is in a great location and very nice overall. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel has no spa facilities. But a great room and new bathroom make up for it.

Excellent location. Small room for price. The hotel is clean and comfortable in a perfect location, but the room was small even though I paid to upgrade. The beds were twins. There was even a clock in the room. Really nice, but no way 5 star.

Lobby has a beautiful fireplace, rooms, general ambience. Very quiet -- perfect location. Everything was fine! Food and drinks were a bit expensive. This is a perfect little gem just down from O'Connell bridge in the heart of Dublin city. A kind staff and a lovely hotel.

Room, location and staff were great. Only 1 thing. The bed was far from the TV & remote did not work that far way. Sounds petty & I know it is. Really great hotel and location. Restaurants were very pricey. Staff is superb.

High quality furnishings with exceptional cleanliness. The hotel staff was not Irish, they were foreign born, and knew little about Dublin or Ireland. This hotel has the absolute best location of any hotel I saw in Dublin. The hotel is beautifully furnished with exceptionally high quality items. The entire hotel was impeccably clean. The Dublin Westin's one draw back was that most of the staff was not Irish and a lot of Irish ambiance was lost. We had stayed in bed and breakfast in other towns and enjoyed interacting with the local Irish people. Even the concierge at the Westin Dublin was an international staff. They were very nice and helpful but didn't know much about the city, customs or country.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. The bathroom was very large, but the room somewhat small. The windows opened if you wanted which was very nice. The concierge staff could have been somewhat better informed regarding side trips, but they were friendly and wanted you to have a nice stay. The food in the resteraunt and bar was excellent and the location couldn't have been more convenient.
