This hotel has an ideal location within walking distance of the major east side sites and seconds from the U Bahn stop that gives access to the entire city. There's a great Cafe Einstein a few doors away with wonderful breakfasts and free wireless. I'd stay here again any time.

Perfect location for touring Berlin. Walking distance to all the important tourist spots. Beautiful hotel and the price was amazing. I would strongly recommend a stay there.

Location, competence of staff. Situated in the very center of town, this hotel allows plenty of site-seeing within walking distance, offers good service and nice restaurants.

The Westin is an excellent hotel. Perfectly located, lovely rooms and very good service. Also when we checked in at noon, we got our room immediately, no waiting around until 2 or 3pm. All in all, this hotel is the cat's pyjamas.

We had two ns rooms. One smelled of smoke and had to be changed. Of the three rooms, none had the heavenly bed- very disappointed. One room also had a leaky bathtub which made for a mildew smell.On the plus side, the location could not be any more ideal for sightseeing. Also, very close to the train station.

Great location for sites, museums, restaurants and public transport. Fitness room and pool very nice. Concierge helpful and service first class as one would expect at these prices. Room fine but not exceptional.

best location, amazing pool area breakfast is too expensive if not included some people have written about old rooms and smells - ours was beautiful. We loved the hotel and it's the only place we'll stay in Berlin.

Easy check-in although I was there in the morning. At check out the desk clerk asked me if I wanted the 55 Euro charge billed to my credit card. Took a few minutes to get my "this is pre-paid" . Excellent public areas, perfect location for business and tourism, room reasonably large for a European hotel, hall ways a bit stark.

Nice room size and hotel location is great. No Internet connection in Room + high charges for Bus. Ctr.! The Westin Grand is very centrally located & convenient to Berlin Public transit. Ambiance is very nice and rooms and bathrooms are what you would expect from a hotel of this class. However, if you need to work from your room, forget it if you need to be online. There is NO internet connectivity in the rooms and the "Business Center" (a single PC and an additional connection to use your own laptop) costs 15 Euros(!) for 30 minutes. Now that's highway robbery for a hotel of this class.The breakfast buffet is good, but not included with the room price. Concierge service was very helpful and, of course, the staff is multilingual.Except for the Internet fiasco, a very nice hotel and a great base from which to explore Berlin.

Great location, lovely decor, good size room, great value Price of breakfast was steep The dramatic atrium and attractive decor make it a pleasant place to be. The location is outstanding, with easy access by the TXL bus from Tegel airport, city buses (100 & 200), and U-bahn. Easy access to main attractions including Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Jewish Museum, Museum Island, etc.

Spa was fantastic. Wonderful foyer piano bar Beautiful hotel in excellent location for the sights of Berlin. Spa area was well maintained. Staff friendly. Would stay here again.
