General Information: Westin Camino Real has been newly redecorated with marvelous pieces of art and wonderful classic European architectural details, which along with our meticulous and friendly service makes our facility the best international hotel in Guatemala. The hotel has its Shopping Arcade where you'll be able to find from books to jewelry, jade and original paintings to travel related services, the perfect gift idea or keepsake from your successful trip to Guatemala. Locations: Guatemala is the largest city in Central America, and geographically speaking, the first one to be found as one travels from north to south through the five countries of this region. Area Details: The city has various cultural centers such as Archeological Museums, Modern Shopping Centers, live Activity and Recreation District (called Zona Viva), Handcraft Markets and Business District, all inside a 3 mile radius from the hotel. Special mention must be made of the many Mayan Temples and ruins that are available for the most adventurous traveler. Among them is Tikal, which may be visited thru our sister hotel Westin Camino Real Tikal. In addition to the ruins of Yaxa, Ceiba and Uxantun may be easily reached by the way of a short flight or an incredibly scenic drive.
