This was really the worst experience I've ever had while staying in a hotel. Not even an hour after checking in the power in our hotel room went out (and only in our room). After the electrician shows up we are told that there was also a short in the light in our bathroom. Our television didn't work so we couldn't order movies or view some channels. The same night we were told we would receive a breakfast voucher for morning but it didn't come until well in the evening the next day. We were promised that the television issue would be fixed the next day otherwise we could change rooms. When we returned to our room after a day of touring, we found that the problem had not been fixed and by that time all other rooms had been booked! We also asked numerious times for a room service menu but we never received one. We also had to share our complaint to four people at the front desk during the course of our stay because there was a serious lack of communication between them and documentation of our issue. We felt as if we were getting the run around when they should have been more than willing to help us. At the end of our stay we were also told that they could not accommodate the room because we had booked through Orbitz and it was non-refundable. However if we ever choose to book with them again they MIGHT upgrade us to one of their newly renovated rooms. The kicker? We were already in one of their newly renovated rooms! The manager didn't even care to speak with us after we had requested to. They did agree to pay for our parking which is $32 per night for guests! Although I find it interesting they only charged themselves for one night. Stay at your own risk!

Front desk person went out of his way to make sure we had whatever we needed. Waiter at breakfast was unpleasant and seemed upset when a few of our large party wanted to order off menu instead of buffet. All in all the hotel staff, and the environment were very pleasant. Our group enjoyed our stay.

Value for money. A huge place with great facilities

First of all, yes, it is beautiful hotel...from the outside. As you get off the elevator to your floor where you will be staying it's a totally different story. It looked like a cheesy 70's hotel. The room we were given had 2 double beds, we booked a KING. The carpet was dirty, the clock/radio has some sort of brown stain on it, there was dust build up on the lamp shades, and that mini fridge...wouldn't put dog food in it! When we phoned the front desk and were told that they had the right to give us ANY room they wanted because when you book through ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE you are not garanteed what you pay for. Oh and when we called ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE for clarification, we got the run arounds. The rep flat out refused to give us the number for to file a complaint. This trip was supposed to be a romantic getaway for my husband and I on our first anniversary. Thanks to this cheesy hotel and ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE negligence, we had to sleep in 2 seperate beds ( kinda like the Cleavers). Not the romantic time I expected. Save your money. I've gotten better rooms from Holiday Inn.

If you have to stay downtown in LA then stay here. A very nice hotel. Lots of extra facilites at the hotel and great restaurants across the road. Transport at the door. Rooms are excellent and great views. I travelled with a colleague who was overjoyed at being able to have a beer on the rooftop at the brewery and still smoke! I would stay here again.

I was very surprised to experience such poor service. I left 3 messages for the night mangaer to call without any results. One of 3 days we were not given clean towels and the room was left without service. I will not return to this hotel again.

Liked the inside of the Hotel lobby and floors. Rooms looked old and run down. Nothing to get excited about in the suite. Great help from staff and room service

Leaving it. Everything else. Lots of places give priceliners less than top rooms. In this case, literally the room stank. Second room wasn't actively molding, but old and nasty.

We liked the hotel and would go back, however the "double beds" that are normally 54" wide and tight for 2 people were only about 45" wide (not sure where they find these beds, not normal). There were 3 of us in the room 1 night and it was hard sleeping 2 to a bed. The hotel was architechurly beautiful/interesting, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our first trip to LA. Very easy to get to from the airport and after hectic day at Disneyland and a day at Los Callejones, slept like a baby on a great bed. No other hotel we have stayed at was as pleasant to stay at. Really a stress-free enviornment to get to after long flights or visiting Disneyland or the Fashion District.

It was centrally located, clean, and the price was good. Excellent experience.
