Great Place - watch out for the seperate bathroomPeople, room & food were great. Only draw back was that the bathroom was not en-suite. Although it says "9 en-suite bedrooms" in the main blurb the single I was in has a note is the small print to say seperate private bathroom. This is only a minor thing though. Would recommend to anyone.

excellent hospitality, first rate breakfast.The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was first rate with a wide choice and plenty of it. On the downside it is about 25 minutes walk into the town centre and the bed although super kingsize was a bit on the lumpy side. With a better bed and a bit more shelf space in the bathroom would rate even higher

Owners were brilliant from ariving to leaving, nothing was too much trouble, always willing to speak with you without being intrusive and always a smiling face. More like a B&B than a Hotel (but a good one) rooms are a little dated but are spacious, comfortable and clean. It is quite a walk to the sea front (about 25mins). Although on a busy road at the front and railway at the back to be honest i did not hear either of these at night, very quiet. Breakfast was outstanding for this style of accomodation, really enjoyable. We enjoyed our 1 week break made better by lovely weather. I would recommend staying here

Very good small hotel nr to the centre of town. Good value for money. Rooms were modern , clean and spacious with all mod cons. Small outdoor pool is a real bonus.

One of the best rooms we have had the pleasure of staying in.From the moment we arrived, our Hostess Jenny, made us more than welcome at her hotel. The room we were allocated was 'Tip-Top'. Lovely wide bed, immaculate, modern en-suite, and enough room to swing TEN cats!!The outside pool area was delightful in the sunshine, and with the hotel's location made it easy to stroll into Torquay, and also take the train to Plymouth for the day, from Torre Station, just a couple of hundred yards up the road.We recommend any visitors to Torquay to book this hotel, you won't be dissapointed!

Better than a Premier Inn!What a great accomodation. I stayed with Jenny for just one night on a buiness trip but will definitely be going back. Room No.1 was tastefully decorated with tea, coffe and a free bottle of water plus biscuits. The bathroom was bright, clean and modern with a large walk in shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit in abundance and poached egg cooked to perfection. There is even an outdoor pool for the warm summer evenings. 10/10

lovely accommodationWe only stayed here for 1 night but wished it was more. The rooms are spotless and nicely decorated. The people that run the place are very friendly and always aiming to please. Our compliments to the chef as the breakfast was to die for ! Definately worth the money and would go back tomorrow if we could ! Will definately be going back there later on in the year. Thanks again x

Wow what a welcome!!We wouldnt have any hesitation in recommending this hotel- from our first step into the hotel we were warmly welcomed and offered a coup of tea/coffee which we had on the patio by the pool as the weather was gorgeous. It would have been nice to have a dip but didnt have time - another time! The rooms were well appointed and we had the luxury double so it was lovely. Although the hotel is on the main road we didn't hear a thing as double glazing excellent. The breakfast was wonderful too all the cereals, fresh fruit - melon, strawberries, blueberries, grapefruit, oranges, yogurts, fresh chilled juices, followed by any concotion of english breakfast or continetal. From here it was a comfortable 10 minute walk to the sea front, a bit longer to the town but an easy level walk into town. All in all a good stay.

Warm , Friendly and Relaxing . Thank You !Upon arrival we were met by Jenny who made us feel very welcome . We were shown to our room which was very nice and comfortable . Then we were offered a much needed cup of tea (the children had juice) which we drank by the pool ! The children loved roaming around and although we had no swimwear , the children had a nice long paddle in the pool . Ideally located for a nice walk into town which to our surprise the children didn't mind !! After a good nights sleep we were able to fill up the next day on a banquet of a breakfast . We had a choice of cereal , juices , fruit , full English , toast , tea or coffee . The choice was amazing . What more could you want ? A great place to stay and very child friendly . Would definately go back if we are down in that part of the country again .

Excellent hotel handy for the sea front and also exploring the Torbay area. Jenny makes it feel like you are staying with a friend. Food at breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Not quite warm enough to test out the outdoor pool though!!!!!

Nice accommodation,great food and very pleasant hosts.My fiance and I stayed in the four poster bedroom.The room was very clean and so was the en-suite.It would have been nice to have had a bath in the en-suite.The lcd tv is so small its nearly impossible to watch a widescreen film on it. The room was affected by a large amount of noise from the traffic as its located on a very busy road.The double glazed windows didnt filter out any of the noise and it sounded as if you were sleeping on the pavement.The breakfast is extremely good with a choice of chopped fruits,cereals, yoghurts and fresh juices to pick from,followed by a full cooked breakfast.I thought the room in the end was overpriced by at least £30/night due to having no bath,Unable to hear the tv due to traffic and impossible to watch a dvd due to the size of the screen.The room also didn't stay at a constant temperature.I woke up in the early hours and it must have been 90 deg.The owners were extremely polite and were more than willing to help with any queries.I would stay there again but would try a different room.

We don't normally go for family run B&B but decided to give this one a try based on good reviews. Have to say, room was perfect for us and as spotlessly clean as you'd keep your own house! Made very welcome by hosts, but not to point of intrusion. Beds comfortable - double for us plus bunks in adjoining room for kids. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.

Easter Break+ Warm welcome, room clean, tidy and comfortable, good choice of food .- Don't forget a good pair of walking shoes, as the marina, town centre and harbour is a good 25 min walk, however there is a nice theme pub just up the road which has a restaurant and outdoor bar if you don't want to walk too far at night.

Great for a stop overWe only booked this hotel for a night as a stop over, the hotel was nice and clean. We were greeting by a helpful owner who was nice and pleasant and remained throughout our stay. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and children enjoyed a chat with the owner whilst we tucked away. Reccommend the sccomodation ane the service to anyone staying over in Torquay.
