Date of Stay: May, 2009

Arrive for check-in after 5pm and do not expect a warm welcome; after 5pm the front door will be locked with reception closed. You have to get another guest to let you in, then use the faulty phone (good luck!) to ring for a faceless person to tell you where you room key is hidden. Want to get access to another person's room? Easy! One of my colleagues, after asking reception to deliver something to a guest, was freely given the room key. Want clean sheets? Simple! Another colleague, when asking reception for clean sheets, was told by reception that "there is a washing machine in your room". Want immediate internet access? You will have to wait until 9am tomorrow when reception opens again. And before you depart, you are required to take out your own rubbish. Truly! The room smelt of off drains. And this joint claims 4.5 stars! Summary, when reception is actually open, do not ask for service as you will just get aggressive staff doing naught. I am typing this while I wait for reception to open, so I can check-out... Truly disappointing service. Avoid at all costs.

A very modern and contemporary decorated apartment - I found it very relaxing and luxrious comfortable for a home away home stay. Location is great, close to all amenities yet not disturbed by the nearby business acitivites. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again.

Stayed in 2 bedroom unit, very spacious and modern, excellent facilities the closed in rooftop guests lounge was great for having bbqs,apartment was central to shops,resturants etc which was handy as I didn't need to use my car.

I have stayed at The Waves Resort twice in the last five weeks and have found the facilities excellent.The position is very central and there are lots of great eating places downstairs all within walking distance. I stayed in both one bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments both are very generous in size and have very modern decor.Great bbq area which we used to have a lovely lunch at the pool area.Would recommend to friends to stay.
