What transport is available to get around?

There are a few transport options in Dunedin. To and From the airport (because it is quite far away from the city), the only options are taxi or shuttle van. There are public buses that run from the city to the beaches and other areas of interest such as Port Chalmers and The Otago Peninsula.

Do you provide parking?

We do have our own car park at the hotel; this is uncovered but spotlighted at night for security and we have never had any problems with guest cars.

What are your breakfast options?

We run breakfast in our in-house Well Manor restaurant; this runs daily from 7:00am-10:00am. We provide a Continental Buffet that includes toast & spreads, tea & coffee, homemade muesli & a variety of cereals, meat platter, croissants & danishes, seasonal fruit & natural yogurt as well as a variety of Simply Squeezed Juices. Continental Breakfast is $16.00 per person.

We also provide an a la carte menu for those wanting a hot breakfast and this includes breakfasts such as Eggs Benedict ($12.50 ham/spinach, $14.50 salmon), 3 Egg Omelette with a variety of fillings ($12.00), Stack of Pancakes served with Bacon and Banana ($12.50) and a Full English Breakfast ($20.25).

What can I do nearby?

The Victoria Hotel is situated in Dunedin's CBD so we are just a stones throw away from all the attractions Dunedin City has to offer such as the Art Gallery, local bars and restaurants, Otago Museum, Dunedin's Famous Railway Station, the Otago Settlers Museum, the Chinese Gardens, and Speights Brewery. The Octagon is only a 10 minute walk away and many Dunedin City tours leave hourly from the Visitor Centre. We are also opposite the Cadbury Chocolate Factory which is a popular tourist attraction and provide Factory Tour vouchers at reception. We also sell other vouchers for local tours such as The Speight's Brewery Tour, The Taieri Gorge Railway and Monarch Wildlife Tours. All of these great tours are walking distance from The Victoria Hotel and many provide free pick up and drop off from the hotel reception.

We do have internet available in our rooms. We provide a Wireless system as well as a plug in system in each room. This is at a cost of $3.00 for 30 minutes and we provide special rates for all day access.
