Basic - but goodI didn't expect much from a room costing so little - and I didn't get it. The breakfast was superb, plentiful and well presented, the accommodation was very basic - the tv reception was none existent, the lock on the bedroom door faulty and the sash window wouldn't stay open by itself.Nonetheless, as all I wanted was a bed and a breakfast, I was quite happy with what I received.

Noisy, tired accommodationBooked it because it was cheap and realised why it was so after my first night, room okay, TV didn't work or had poor reception on channels, bed very uncomfortable (what does a new mattress cost these days? Felt the springs all night! Noise from bar downstairs very loud, especially on second night. Was meant to stay all week lasted two nights. Can't comment on breakfast or other rooms maybe they were better / quieter.

It was your basic pub BB, but it was everything I needed, a clean warm room, good B/fast.. v. good

Bathroom was a bit smelly. It's a lovely pub though and the food is really good and so is the ale. For the price, I'd saty again.

I arrived late, the kitchen had closed but the chef hadn't left, so she made me a curry - well that's service! A really nice pub, lovely spot. I found my single-glazed wooden framed windows left a draught during the night but it was an unusually cold spell
