very nice location in the heart of chicago, short ways to the pier, the shopping miles and the hancock tower. the stuff is very friendly and proffesional, they can arrange you anything what you want, really outstanding. beautifull rooms for this price. when we visit chicago again, we will stay in the talbott hotel again.

Great little hotel with very friendly and quick on the up take staff. Lack of gym facilities on site more than made up for by free access to a nearby gym.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Talbot. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. We were there to see friends and get away for a long weekend. We liked the location of the hotel and it was very convenient that there was a small gourmet grocery store across the street, nice restaurants close by and good access to shopping.

Very professional and helpful staff. No ice machine in room - had to order from room service. I found the hotel clean and professionally decorated. It was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Doormen were always helpful as was the rest of the staff. Room service was timely, and the room was clean. Loved the robes - I ended up buying one from the front desk. The pillows and comforters were also comfortable. Will stay again at The Talbot next time I am in Chicago.

A very nice hotel in a great area. Very convenient to the restaurants on Rush St and the shopping on Michigan Ave. Very close to the Water Tower landmark, and easy to get to Millenium Park, the Art Institute and the Navy Pier. Note that there is construction adjacent and in back of the hotel. It's almost complete. Request a room facing Delaware to get away from the construction noise. Rooms are fabulous--very roomy with elegant furniture, flat screen TV with plenty of digital channels, marble bathroom with double sinks and a huge counter.Staff is very friendly and knowledgable.

The staff at this hotel really made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The view of the ally 30 feet from our window. This hotel is top notch, very friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect for our stay, attention to every detail a very clean and well run hotel, we will be back every time we visit Chicago.

Location is superb, we were right in a middle of everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was ready well before check-in time and far exceeded our expectations. Will definetely stay again

Intimate, cozy, genuine staff, accommodating. One room faced a wall and was dark. This is my second trip to the Talbot and the cozy intimate atmosphere combined with the gracious staff from the concierge desk to the valet group and wonderful location made for a pleasant trip. I will return again. All of this makes up for one room which had no view.

we were apprehensive about it's location,.. however it was PERFECT.. it was 2 blocks off of Michigan Ave. right on the John Hancock corner.. Great restaurants nearby and shopping, water tower is 2 blocks or so away.. I would stay here again.. the TV was great... rooms were very nice and we heard NO outside noise which is rare in Chicago... 8th floor..

Very spacious and attractive rooms. Gene (concierge) very friendly and got us great last min. Dinner reservations. Lobby very cozy w/fireplaces. Bed was not very comfortable. The Talbot is great hotel! Great location. Small hotel with very upscale, cozy feel. Lobby very inviting w/free coffee and brownies. Rooms very spacious. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful service and great concierge/ connections and recommendations.

It was not what I expected of the hotel since it was not directly on Michigan Ave. I enjoyed the excellent service, from the moment I walked thru the door to the time we checked out. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is visiting Chicago and want to stay downtown; its 1 blk from Michigan Ave so it's in the middle of everything from shopping, salons to restaurants. Our stay here was better than the previous year trip when my family and I stayed at the Westin on Michigan Ave. and it was not what I expected being a hotel on the Ave. I really appreciated the service I received at the Talbott and that is the hotel of choice for every visit to Chicago.

When we walked in the door it was like going home. We introduced ourselves and from that moment on it was 'what can we do for you'. From the doorman to the room attendants, everything was perfect. We could not even hear the construction or street noises. 5 Star all the way.
