Unfortunately the Cocoon Bar and Lounge, was not open all weekend as there were conferences being held, only the Tabaret was available for a drink. Concierge were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Good hotel, right in the city. Nice inner city views and plenty of room in the suite.

The location is fantastic...only 10-15 mins walk from Casino. If a night walk isnt your thing, there is a bar and gaming facility down stairs. Staff were extremely accommodating and very helpful. Rooms were cosy and clean and good for people wanting a place to rest their head for the night. Not a very romantic setting if that is what you are looking for but overall a great place to stay.

I was Very disappointed when cigarette smoke was entering our room from an adjacent room and nothing was done about it. We had to put up with this for 3 days. These are supposed to be smoke free rooms.

For what I paid and for the rating of this hotel I thought it would be quite nice. The room was very small, no pressure at all from the shower head, pretty sure the bed was a double bed and lifts broken, but there was no signage that the lifts were broken even though the staff knew. Had to use the service lift. Not very happy.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. only comment i have is that the shower head wasn`t a water saving one and that the water fell directly onto your head. no good for women who don`t want to get their hair wet,as i found that a shower cap cant be used when you have had your hair done. thanks, regards, sheryl and sam

Room Service menu limited after 10pm. Breakfast to room missing items specified on menu. Request for taxi booking greeted by reception suggesting that public transport was available on the street - when it was pointed out that this was not necessarily a desired option for tourists with no knowledge of the area then staff grudgingly agreeing to book a cab. On the good side, rooms were quiet.

Good pricing. Excellent location. Good cleaniness. Facilities are just average-understood that it just had renovation from existing hotel. However, I believe it needs to be improve in service matter. It requires more staffs in working during day time. I found many guests were wondered and look for the staff and waiting to be served. In generall, it is pretty good hotel if you consider its room rate.

Good 4 star Hotel at the very best location in melbourne's CBD. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate for the price.

The location is very good as it is located in the city centre. The internal fitting is rather simple. The price is reasonable.

Describes itself as 4.5 stars - I am not sure I would agree with this. It is a good hotel, not great but the location is very convenient. We had to stay here on the Aust Day long weekend - we paid way more than what we should have but I accepted it because of the location. The pool is not really a pool, more of a plunge pool, small and shallow. Having said this, I would stay there again if I had to.

Great place to stay if shopping in Melbourne. Rooms clean and comfortable. Included Buffet Breakfast was reasonable enough to forgive some dirty plates. There was also a wait to check luggage into to storage, but staff were effecient and pleasent. Would stay here again.

Good size room, excellent position for shopping or theatre. Staff need to be more welcoming, desk staff came across cold.

Room was a good size and location was great. short walks to everywhere we wanted to go. Parking is a hassle as they do not have their own car park and charge extra $15 per night to park your car for you.(on top of $15 per night garaging fee). House maids were very noisy in corridors in the mornings.
