The Swan Bed & Breakfast Ironbridge Telford

The Swan is an eighteenth century malthouse set on the river front close to the heart of Ironbridge. It was an Inn when Abraham Darby was building the Bridge and as such it is rumoured that site meetings were held at The Swan from time to time. Telford offers a tremendous variety of things to do in your leisure time, whether it be visiting one of the area's many museums, such as the world famous Ironbridge Gorge Museum, or participating in leisure activities. Whether at the prestigious Horsehay Village Golf Centre, one of the borough's leisure centres, sports centres, or Telford Ice Rink, or exploring the rich and varied history of the district. There is the renowned Oakengates Theatre at The Place with its varied programme of music, comedy, drama shows and pantomime as well as many parks and open spaces, such as the 180-hectare Telford Town Park with its leisure and fun facilities. Within Telford and Wrekin there are a large number of walking and cycling routes. Whether you wish to walk or cycle for leisure, there are plenty of routes to get you where you want to go. We are the oldest pub in the Ironbridge, yet with a contemporary feel combining old and new styles, which is highly reflected in the extensive menu. We offer food from 12-3pm & 6-10pm Monday to Thursday and 12-10pm Friday to Sunday, served in our gastro style restaurant or relaxed bar area. We have eight individual decorating rooms and a large suite with kitchenette and Dressing room, some with beautiful views of the River Severn. A Full English Breakfast is served in The Swan.
