The Strings Hotel Tokyo

The hotel is only one minute walk from JR Shinagawa station and is connected by a pedestrian bridge, called "Sky Walk" from Konan Exit of the railway station. It is very convenient location accessing inside and outside Tokyo. Bullet Train (Tokaido Shinkansen) bound for west; Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, stops at Shinagawa station. It is 20 minutes train rides to Haneda Airport. From Narita International Airport, Airport Limousine bus stops at the hotel everyday and JR Narita Express trains stop at the railway station. JR Yamanote Line serves to major areas of Tokyo.

The lower four floors of the building is a shopping mall and up-scale restaurants, banks, a book store, a convenient store, clinics are there. The contemporary design hotel is an affiliate of the ANA hotels and its interior designing is work by an Italian designer. Fitness gym is open for 24 hours.

It is a modern, 32-storey grey building, named "Shinagawa East One Tower. " The hotel occupies the highest seven floors of the modern office building. The hotel's main entrance is on the ground floor accessible by car, while a pedestrian walk from the Shinagawa station leads to the second floor.

All rooms are located on the 27th to 32th floors and are large in size with contemporary design interior. All are equipped with high-speed Internet, in-room safe, English television programs (BBC and CNN), bath amenity made of natural materials. What is rare to find service is "Web Print" system. The web-based device allows guests to print out documents from a printer in the business centre by commanding through an Internet website, without going to the business centre by him/her-self. Bathroom is medium size and kept in good condition. In rooms except for Single type, shower space is outside bathtub.

It is located on the 26th floor of Shinagawa East One Tower. The reception is small but the lobby makes us feel spacious due to the seven floors height atrium. Artificial water stream runs through the lobby floor and guests can cross it by a small bridge to go to the restaurants.

There are two restaurants, both located on the lobby floor. The modern French restaurant is the in lobby atrium and takes open-kitchen style. It opens throughout a day and can be used as a bar too. The Chinese restaurant provides course and a la carte menu from lunch to dinner time. From the private rooms, panoramic view of Tokyo is available.
