Very well appointed with everything you need for a short stay in Aberdeen. I was visiting my student daughter at the university with her grandfather and this provided a relaxed location to stay. Convenient for the city and private parking. Despite being on the main road it was quiet. Local shops make it easy to get whatever provisions needed.

A much cheaper option than getting hotel rooms for 3 people!Nice accomodation, all being refurbished. Ours was completed the day we arrived. Not very close to the city. You wouldn't walk in unless you were feeling very fit!

Spires ApartmentsArrived in the late evening and called the help line who informed me of my apartment number. I was talked through the access procedure to get my apartment key from a key safe inside the secure building. I had booked a 1 bed apartment but was allocated a spacious two bed apartment. The accommodation was spotless, I couldn't find fault with anything. The apartment was equipemed with every amenity I could want. The equipment was of a high quality: leather suites, television, entertainment system, DVD players, freeview etc.I would recommend these apartments to all.

ExcellentThe suite was clean and fully equiped with smart (and fully operational) shower, kettle, microwave, fridgefreezer, digital TV, alarm clock, boiler, toaster, washer/dryer. Its about a 30 minutes walk (2 miles) into the centre of town, but there is a very regualr bus route until minight-ish.The suite is excellent for families or for working blokes like me and my colleagues.Brilliant value for money, helpful (and not intrusive) staff. Highly recommended and will definately use again for both business and pleasure.

The Spires SuitesHappy with the rooms. Lots of space. Nice and clean. The shower was very poor, no pressure! All in all I was happy.

My stayI was delighted with the stay. The only gripe I have is that the other room was dvertised as a twin bedroom , but it turned out to be a double. My sons werent impressed. My youngest son ended up on the settee in the living room.

Excellent value accommodation. I had a 2 bed ground floor flat. Bit of a goldfish bowl as no net curtains, but tremendus value via laterooms. Breakfast was prepacked; bun yoghurt cereal. You would be better off going to supermarket round the corner and buying your own.

not suitable for mixed family teenagers.Kitchen equipment poor - eg insufficient pans and those provided not large enough; too few plates.

Although I arrived outside office hours, the helpline assisstant was very helpful and made it easy for me to check into my room. The apartment was very clean and well appointed although the large TV that looked so promising was not tuned and not easy to retune. The shower could have been more powerful too. Other than that, the apartment was excellent.

Central for town and transport . Directions were very good. Accommodation excellent and staff welcoming. Self daughter and teenage granddaughter were suitably impressed.

The accommodation and service were perfect. Even though we booked late, we were able to get an early check-in at no extra cost and the staff were very courteous on arrival. Would definately use Spires again, especially if taking the children, as it was home from home.

Very well located, excellent car parking, and easy access when arriving/leaving Aberdeen. On very good bus route into city (10 minutes into Union Street), so taxi not really needed but leave your car in the car park if you are wanting to visit the city.If you are staying in the winter, and know when you are arriving, ask them to put the central heating before you arrive. Ours was not on when we arrived at 2pm, and it took an hour or two to warm up the place!!Buy your breakfast from Somerfield next door, much better value and more choice than the in flat option at £8.00each

This properties advertising gives off an air of luxury and modern sophistication, which in reality, is very far from the truth. The first impression when entering the hallway, after having avoided the bicycle and pram,is one of a tired, smelly, aprtment block with a musty smell which continues into the rooms. On entering the apatment the first impression is the musty smell then the carpet, which, originally green, is now dirty with several large black stains. The lounge is OK with the described TV, DVD etc but lacking the vase, flowers and floor lamp that made the room a bit dark not helped by the fact that the windows had not been cleaned in a long time. The bedrooms were perfectly adequate with clean sheets and the musty smell to keep you company at night. The kitchen contained all the neccessary tools should you wish to cater for yourself during your stay. I searched for the promised welcome pack but as I later discovered this consisted of a pack of two biscuits, a sacket of coffee, but no tea bags, and 6 small milk containers. The worst nightmare was in the bathroom. The toilet, sink and bath were all a peachey/pink colour with peach and grey flowered wall tiles with green and grey squared cushionfloor. The white silicone strip which had been used to cover the blackening grout was peeling off and there was mould along the side of the bath which had been painted over to conceal it. As the reception closes at 7pm, I rang the on call duty manager who said there was nothing he could do that evening but would see me at check out the next morning. When I asked for him I was told he did not start work until 2pm and there was no duty manager available but someone would ring me back. Despite a couple of reminders I am still awaiting that call. There is no way these apartments could ever be described as luxury suites, I would put them more at holiday camp rooms from the 80's. The final word goes to one of their staff who said that the Aberdeen rooms were older and due for
