<br/> The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel (Dunhuang Sanzhuang) is a Chinese-Hong Kong joint venture offering the most luxurious accommodations in town. The hotel is near the great sand dunes of Singing Sand Mountains and about four kilometers south of town. The hotel is nicely designed and boasts a range of rooms, suites and even a villa, which are all clean and comfortable. Within the hotel, there are two restaurants, a bar and a cafe. The lobby lounge is an ideal place to have a drink and relax. In addition, there are meeting rooms of various sizes, a multi-function room and a business center. For recreation, there is a sauna center and KTV. Though the hotel is far from the city, they offer a shuttle bus service to the city center. They also organize tours to Singing Sand Mountains for CNY 200 per person. You ride a camel to Singing Sand Mountains after breakfast, and admission is included. Although this hotel is a little expensive it is a tastefully decorated place and offers fantastic views of the Singing Sand Mountains.
