On arrival there was no assistance with our baggage. The foyer was busy and it was not apparent where the reception to check in was. The bars were very busy during our stay mainly with non-residents. It is one of the in places to be seen. The public rooms are very young and very noisy. The deluxe room we had was not up to the standard of deluxe rooms at similar 5 star hotels in Dublin.

Hotel, staff and location. Our room was a bit small. This hotel lives up to its reputation. The renovation is gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the location is perfect.

Absolutely wonderful hotel staffed by a wonderful enthusiastic and friendly team in every department from reception to restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyable stay with not an iota with which one could quibble. Unmmissable if you enjoy attentive and unobtrusive service in a truly lovely relaxing oasis of tranquility in the centre of the city.

This was a fabulous hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and took interest in detail. We got upgraded to Penthouse which was pure luxury. The bar area was inviting and friendly. Beautiful spa/pool area. Good location for shops and tourist attractions.

Beautiful, elegant facility close to town & activities but quiet location. No parking facility on sight, expensive to have hotel park car at a location close to hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones we have ever had at a hotel. The room was tastefully decorated as was the entire hotel. The bar was a lovely place for a drink at day's end. Our stay there was perfect!

It was in a very good location. Accessible to everywhere, clean and elegant looking in the general area, friendly employees. Room was very small, no chest of drawers or dresser for clothing, bathroom was extremely small except the large shower. OverallI liked the hotel very much it is the Priceline that I have problem with since there is no options available to select the room type or bedding type or size of the room.

Beautiful & grand architecture. Impeccable customer service. Superb location. Nothing I didn't like - honestly. The hotel is as beautiful and grand as it's pictures. The location was superb. But, mostly I was very impressed with their customer service - absolutely outstanding. We were on a long trip, and it was great to call this place home for a couple of nights.

Fabulous location and beautiful lobby! When I first arrived, I was given a very small room with one queen bed. I asked to be moved to another room, because the queen room is really only sufficient for a solo traveler. After the second night, we were finally moved to a much larger king room, and it was fabulous! The staff was very accommodating and service-oriented. The only thing I recommend that this hotel change is the cost of the internet - 20 Euro per day is highway robbery!

Location. Mediocre front desk service.

The place is a classically lovely old hotel. It is well kept up. The staff is attentive and helpful. Their restaurants are very overpriced, especially the breakfast buffet. Internet and other extras are overpriced. The only free amenity is ice. It's a great hotel. Very comfortable. Great location. But for the price, you'd expect to have, at least, complimentary in-room internet. Many other very nice hotels in Dublin provide that. I tried the Full Irish Breakfast buffet, even though it cost something like 59 euro for one, only to find the next day that I could get something just as grand two blocks way at a couple of different restaurants for between 9 & 13 euro. Somehow, being nickeled and dimmed in such an venerable (and expensive) hotel diminished it's stature to me. Perhaps that's the Renaissance way.

The location. Staff attentiveness. Nice place with great location and a lot of history but needs to be a little more less stuffy and family friendly.

Prime location, spotless conditions and friendly staff. Very small room. Beautiful historic hotel and perfectly situated. The recent renovations were completed with taste and sensitivity.

It was very clean, staff was friendly. The bed was lumpy. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were very clean. It was in the center of town and very close to the bus lines.
