Our suite was actually a boutique style apartment with a full kitchen, and a large deck. They allowed us to check in before 9am so we didn't get an upper room with a great view. The location made up for that. We actually walked the 3 blocks from the cruise ship to the hotel and beat the crowd that was in queue for cabs. The biggest surprise was when we walked out the back door to have dinner and found ourselves right on the water and the yacht basin that was surrounded by restaurants that were packed and really jumping. We chose Italian, the Positano restaurant, and had a great dinner, and a leisurely walk afterwards along the waterfront. The hop-on, hop off tour bus stop was only 2 blocks away which was very convenient.

Fantatic location on Viaduct Harbour - restaurants galore!! Suite had everything you could want for. CD player was broken however. Well stocked minibar and great kitchen facilities. Undercover parking and balcony overlooking the harbour. Highly reommend this hotel when in Auckland, have stayed here many times.

Loved our stay at the Sebel Suites, just wish we had longer. Location fantastic, suite very spacious with excellent facilities. Can't wait to stay again.

We have stayed at The Sebel on many occasions. Generally it has been great but we have had 2 very noisey nights with people partying or talking very loudly in the Viaduct. There isn't a ramp to the reception area which means you have to lug your bags up a flight of stairs. No staff member has ever offered me assistance with this.
