what a delightful hotel!!! TRULY. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. I wasn't happy at the first room they put me in (basement room - cute but no natural light) So requested another and they moved me with no problem to a top floor room with a great view. Would definitely stay here in future. Well done guys.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent, in keeping with the majority of the other reviews on this site. The check-in was effortless, and they upgraded us to a four poster bed suite without asking- how nice! The room was large for European standards, quiet and very clean. We had a lovely view of the Church across the street. The hotel is very conveniently located to Paddington for easy travel to and from airports. Overall, we would surely stay here again.

A beautiful, intimate experience. Quite one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Roaring log fires aswell - perfect - and a short hop to Hyde Park. Thoroughly recommend this.

I really love this hotel. I like the location - just a few minutes' walk from Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express, lots of shops and places to eat in the vicinity and very well served by public transport (tube, bus). The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet and, I like the fact that breakfast is brought to your room at the time of your own choosing - which appeals to me more than having to seek out a busy breakfast room. On the minus side, there is only one minor drawback - no kettle/tea, coffee in the room. If this latter point was rectified I wouldn't have any complaints at all. The hotel is a bit on the pricey side, but I'm willing to pay it for all that I've just mentioned.

Write up about hotel promises services they either no longer provide or are phasing out. Very awkward almost embarrassing way they serve the welcoming/dinner ""bonuses"". Won't stay there again

Perfect for me!I read previous reviews before booking for this one night stay. I wanted a comfortable hotel close to Paddington station and it fitted the bill exactly. The building and furnishings are very stylish, the room was very comfortable and clean with a great bed and bathroom. I was at the back so it was quiet. Best of all were the staff who were fantastically friendly and helpful whilst being efficient.I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it. Price reasonable.Only quibbles: no kettle/tray in room and it's not too accessible as there are many steps.

The location is fantastic, 2 blocks from Paddington so easy to get to from Heathrow and near stops for many of the underground lines. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, great shower. Comfy chairs in the lobby for doing email. The staff was very accommodating. The single room was small, with just enough space to get around the double bed.

When I rang to warn the hotel I would be checking in very late, they took a long time to ansser the phone. I dropped off my bags in advance of checking in but they weren't in my room when I turned up later, but the receptionist sorted this out promptly. Room was quite small but nice bed linens and it had everything I needed.

I loved this hotel from the first step inside. The decor has been lovingly created and is a quite simply beautiful throughout. The double room had a very comfortable bed which I really enjoyed sleeping in. I've stayed in many contemporary hotels in London, but contemporary doesn't mean better and in fact The Royal Park Hotel makes the other hotels I have stayed in feel mediocre and characterless in comparison. A wonderful hotel and a real hidden gem, discreet and just the way I like it. The room service was excellent, the best i have come across in any hotel in London. If I had a girlfriend/wife I would take her there for definite as it is perfect for romance and also ideal for a weekend break to London. In one word, brilliant!!!

No restaurant, breakfast served in your room. Tea, coffee etc can be taken in ground floor drawing room which is beautiful.

Hotel rooms were the cleanist i've seen, and there was adejuate space to be comfortable. Generally the rooms are well insulated and the first night was like being at home, completely silent. Very nice hotel shame that there is no dinning area or gym hence the value for money rating.

On arrival we were upgraded to a four-poster bedroom which was great. Did not have the in-room breakfast, but room service in the afternoon was very efficient and surprisingly good value for London. The room was quiet and the air-con was easy to operate. Lots of goodies to make the stay very comfortable.

This is not for those looking for modern boutique chic or chain hotel facilities - but if you all you need is a high quality bedroom, conveniently located for Paddington, this is for you. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are country house style - good linen, quality plumbing, antique furnishings, quiet. There is a lounge but no restaurant - breakfast is in your room.

The nicest hotel in London. Have stayed here many times and it is always a pleasure. Breakfast is only in bed but is well worth having. NEVER take breakfast at one of the cafés nearby they are all dreadful

I booked this at short notice but the staff knew I was coming and made me welcome. I received a complimentary upgrade upon arrival and was personally shown to my room. Note breakfast is only served in room. This was not a problem for me as I was travellng alone but it may be an issue for a group travelling together.I would certainly stay here again. All of the amenities but none of the bustle of the big hotels.

The Hotel is well situated in a very nice part of London, close to the underground and a nice stroll thru Hyde Park to Knightbridge. Upon arrival we were not offered out complimentry drink and was told we could not have it because it was not printed on the confirmation from Laterooms!!! also the afternoon tea and scones where never offered either!!! I guess the same problem with the confirmation.. I did explain it states on the Laterooms web site page for the Hotel these where offered but they didnt know anything about it.. So no drink or afternoon tea. Plz be aware of this as we thought this was a lovely touch but not so!!..The room was lovely and the bed very comfy. Not much road noise.. Would definatley stay again. Oh & no slippers in room uopn arrival, asked and they did appear.. A little nit-picking but worth a mention as not a cheap place to stay..
