The location is superb with a great beach right on the doorstep. Probably not suited to anyone wanting a hectic nightlife.

My fiance and I stayed at the Royal Phuket as a romantic getaway, and it served that purpose very well. If youre looking to get away from it all and have the best service in Phuket, this is the place to stay. The hotel has its own private beach that is very clean and the water is crystal clear. The majority of guests are wealthy individuals and this hotel knows how to take care of them. I have traveled the world, and this was the best and most attentive service Ive ever had. They just do everything for you. The even have Mercedes and Range Rover service to the airport, their fleet has around 6 cars all owned by the hotel. The free breakfast was very good and tasty with all sorts of international treats, scones, omelets, croissants, and a variety of cheeses. For lunch we opted to go off the hotel property and just outside the gate is a little thai restaurant with very reasonable prices and great food. The only problem i had with the hotel was its location, pretty far away from Patong and any type of nightlife. We rented a car and drove into Patong at night, but it's not very close to the hotel. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again without a second thought. The grounds are immaculate, security makes you feel very safe, and staff is very accommodating. The room was amazing with an ocean view that came straight off of a postcard. The room was very private and we did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms. We just felt like honeymooners and it was really an amazing experience.

Spacious accommodation and HUGE balcony overlooking the sea and islands. Breakfast was served on our balcony and was everything you needed. Staff were so attentive. Hotel set on hillside amongst lush vegetation. Steps from wonderful beach with some private sun loungers for hotel guests.

The recpetion was incredible, they gave us cleaning towels on arriving, sat us in the foyer and served us a cocktail of our choice and gave me a flower garland. The patio in the rooms are absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful, food prices were a bit high though. Would stay there again!
