Paradise Bay and Mellieha Bay, the Island's two largest sandy beaches can be found 1 km away. Gozo Ferry terminal is 1 km away can be reached by a short ride on the public transport or by a 30 minute walk from Riviera. The closest village is Mellieha situated 5 km away and can be easily reached within 5 minutes by car or public transportation. A number of shops, banks, pharmacies, bars and restaurants can be found in Mellieha Bay and Mellieha Village.
