The hotel is situated in the mountains close to the Northstar village and Truckee, which offer unique shopping, additional dining and historical tours. It is just 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe, 2 hours from Sacramento and 4 hours from San Francisco. Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 45 minutes away.

With its spectacular setting, the resort provides a stunning backdrop to every dining option. From a signature restaurant by the renowned San Franciscan chef Traci Des Jardins to a relaxing cafe and lobby bar, guests are treated to the freshest local ingredients, the region's best wines and warm, relaxing environments in this Northern California contemporary mountain retreat. A traveller's paradise, Lake Tahoe offers year-round recreation options, from sailing and white water rafting to every winter sport imaginable. Built in 2009, the air-conditioned establishment comprises a total of 170 guest rooms and also features a lobby with 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a newspaper stand, a games room and a kids' club. Business guests are sure to appreciate the conference facilities. Internet access is available for a fee. Guests are also provided with a laundry service and 24-hour room service. Those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park for a fee.
