The resort is on a mountain lake and features amenities unequaled in the southern Appalachian. Located on the shores of Lake Chatuge a 7500 acre lake less then 2 hours North of Atlanta. The Ridges Resort and club underwent a 5.5 million dollar renovation in 2002/2003. Each lodge is
elegantly furnished and features a private balcony. The Ridges Resort and Club also offers 23 and 4 bedroom luxury condominiums for extended stays. This resort offers a full service marina with 400 covered boat slipspontoon sailboat jet ski and kayak rentals. Located with 1 hour of three white water rafting rivers and miles of mountain trout streams The Ridges Resort and Club is the perfect choice for the outdoor enthusiast. There are three mountain golf courses located within 15 minutes of the resort. Located on the resort grounds are over a mile of garden walways shoppingpool hot tubs exercise facility and the Yacht Club a casual tavern and grill overlooking the marina. The Ridges Resort and Club has four meeting and conference rooms that can accommodate groups from 10 to 250 people.
