The place is in poor shape considering our stay before in 06. Then we had excellent food, service and accommodations, before, now it has gone down hill dramatically!! My wife and I stayed for two out of our four night booked stay, before leaving. The rooms smell of mildew, and the food was very, very poorly prepared. Desserts were small portioned, and expensive. Employee's were rude at times, and the place does not have the accommodations listed in the handout. Horse back riding is a long drive from the resort, where as another resort close by had the same attractions on site! When we walked up to sign in, there was nobody at the front desk for 10 minuets, and the person who did show up could not find our reservations, and lucky for us, there wasn't a abundance of guests to begin with, which should have been a hint for us! The grounds were poorly maintained, and fixures in our room were outdated. Most of the room staff didn't speak very good english, and sent us on a long hike to find ice!!The views were very nice though, but this place is second rate to what it was before. We had venison stew when we stayed the first time, and it was great, this time we had chicken soup, and it was over salted! Very disapointed, and will not come back!!My wife and I left after our second night, and found better accomidations else where!!!

What a nice place. It is a huge lodge on Lake Chatuge and the Villa's are stylish and well appointed. We'll be back for sure.

The main restaurant is closed permently...nobody at the front desk when we desided to walk to dinner informned us.Rooms poorly kept, we found dirty towles in the tub.None of the activities described in thier hand out are on site, instead miles away!!
